Answer:	Hello. we suggest you remove it if you are running your pond without a heater.

Answer:	TetraPond Water Garden Pump, I got the 500 to 1000, which might be a little too powerful, a lesser one will probably work. TetraPond Pond Tubing, 1-Inch by 20-Feet. The waterfall one that I bought first was this one, and it is very good, better than the smaller one you picked out, TetraPond 26596 Waterfall Filter, Up to 1000-Gallon. As far as lilies go depends on how big your pond is. Lillies can be found in and around ponds nearby where you might live. Or they can be purchased at some Garden stores that sell plants, that kind of place, and often in the spring time is when they do most of their sales for pond. The ones I buy usually last for the season, and they do grow and expand. Also, depending on how big and where your pond is you may need a UV clarifier, and can be hooked in with the pump you select. This will keep your pond from looking like pee soup because of algae.
Question:	Can this be a filter as well
Answer:	No! Not big enough. I put filter material in mine and it backed up and my pond was empty the next morning. Immediately took it out of my system. Bought a much bigger waterfall designed to be a filter and installing it now.
Question:	Is the hose connector supposed to come with it? It shows it in the picture but it didn't come with my shipment
Answer:	It does NOT come with the connector. I had to buy separately a 3/4" bulkhead fitting, then needed to make the hole slightly larger so it would fit, and also needed to buy a 3/4 threaded to barb adapter so I could connect the hose from the filter to the waterfall unit.

Question:	I have a simply lovely outdoor fountain little more than 6-9 feet in diameter, just a foot or do deep. Will this product work with this size fountain
Answer:	The Summit 130 contains 2 bundles, each about 4" in diameter and 10 " long. Based on my experience, one should suffice for a pond of your description, and the second. saved for next year, or used now if your pond is really cloudy. This product will work best and most quickly, if placed where there is water flow (from pumps, waterfalls, returns, etc). If your problem is related to algae in the water, please keep in mind that algae is a pant which needs sunlight to survive and reproduce. Water lilies which can be rooted in underwater baskets) not only produce beautiful flowers, but the large green pads shade out much of the algae growth. Good luck.
Question:	Am I using these wrong? I put 2 bales in a pond that should need only 1, and it didnt clear up my algae at all
Answer:	I don't know how you are using it, but I floated one in my pond and somewhere between three and four weeks, the water started clearing and within a week it was crystal clear. There will be moss growing on rocks, etc. But the Algae in the water will be gone, including that nasty black line that was forming on my rocks from the algae. worked like a charm for me. I had no more algae problems after starting to use this product. I do alternate between dry bales. When one starts to sink from being totally soaked, I trade it out with a dry one and leave the wet one out on a rock to dry. I repeat that cycle whenever it is starting to sink.
Question:	Do you just throw the bale in, or pull it apart
Answer:	Throw the whole bale in as is. Do not pull it apart. It works better if you put it in an area of the pond where there is more water flow, like next to a waterfall. I use a plastic zip tie or nylon cord to hold it in place near the edge of the pond near my waterfall. It will float for a while, thats normal, eventually it will sink, so tying it helps you retrieve it. A very small laundry bag works well too, to help keep it from fraying apart and to tie it in place.

Answer:	This just removes Phosphates from the water so the algae has nothing to snack on.

Answer:	We were told to wait at least 6 hours after putting it in the pool. That was from our pool guy so not definitive. Pretty sure you are not suppose to immediately swim in the pool.
Question:	Can this be used with a turtle aquarium
Answer:	These are very, very different products. Phosfree is a maintenance product designed to keep pool phosphate levels very low-to-absent. Phosphate prevents chlorine from killing algae. If you have algae blooms already, you should shock and brush the pool. Then test for phosphate (Natural Chemistry makes a very easy to use test strip; bottle of 10 for about $12, I think) and determine how much phosphate remover to use. If you can, consult a pool supply store as to what specific product to use. I like a concentrated product called PhosOut, harder to find than the Natural Chemistry series, but I think it works better for both treating a major phosphate level or for preventive maintenance. Hopefully, you learn your lesson with the "major" level once and for all. It's is very wise to be proactive at suppressing phosphate.

Summer - Provide Regular Care And Enjoy Your Pond

While everything looks great, you’ll want to closely monitor the water conditions so that you can protect the health of your pond including plants and fish. Algae grows in the presence of sunlight where there is excess nutrients in the pond water for the algae to feed on. Answer:	Mine has no clear cover
Question:	can you attach a larger filter to pump
Answer:	You can do this in a couple of different ways: 1) Insert the existing pump into a larger filter box. Amazon sells a large rectangular filter box that has the coarse and fine filter media with a hole in the middle where the pump fountain attachment comes up through. This filter box will suck in water from the slotted top, through the filter sponges and then into the existing pump/filter. Works great if you have a larger pond where you can afford to give up that extra space. My only drawback with this was that when you needed to clean out the filter, a lot of the gunk would get spilled back into the pond as you lift out the filter box and try to remove the pump (as it is plugged in somewhere and if you have hidden the wires, you can't easily take the pump away from the pond). 2) Use the side output from this fountain attachment to send some of the water into another filter. You can attach tubing or a hose adapter to it, then connect to any internal or external filter.
Question:	how high in inchs is the actual pump itself,? not sure my garden basin is deep enough to cover the pump
Answer:	About 12 to 20 inches depending on which attachments you use. I love this little pump. My little outdoor plastic pond is only about 4 feet across and only 16 inches deep.

Question:	Is the larger round disk that is the bottom the solar panel
Answer:	Yes the top of that is the solar panel. It only runs the motor when in the sun. This will not keep charged and run if there is no sun hitting it.
Question:	How do i store it when not in use? Does it tirn itself off
Answer:	When stored out of the sun, the motor should stop. Take off the fountain pieces and store in the original box if you have it. Else store in a plastic bag.

Answer:	We used a baby bottle brush to clean the algae from underneath the pump. The flow returned to normal and we have had no other problems.

We have had ours submerged and mounted with stainless nuts and bolts to a rather large piece of slate it is submerged about 4 in. And has had zero problems as of now. Beware prior to purchasing this is much smaller than it looks and you will have issues with it leaking water inside where it goes out his penis I have tried to address this and the only fix I could find was put it in the pond so I'm not losing any water.

Question:	why do you list as prime when your shipping time is so long
Answer:	Where the water comes out is discretely pointed at a downwards angle. So it just depends on how high you place the statue. Mine is at ground level. If you had it at eye level, you'd definitely think there's something not right with that boy.
