Question:	Is this the table that splits in center and you have to bring the two sides in to fit together to make solid top? we had one previously
Answer:	Yes.. It can accomodate at least 2 plates and 2 glasses comfortably. You won't be able to keep the serving bowls etc. But yeah good for two people to enjoy a meal!!

Answer:	I work from home, and occasionally use this table to work outside. It's not as comfortable as sitting at my desk, but I didn't find any problem using it with my laptop. I WOULD recommend getting a pillow to sit on...that plastic can be hard on old bones.

Answer:	no, you need a base with a weighted bottom at 100 lbs. remember to get a weighted bottom on amazon that the umbrella slips into. table does have a whole for umbrella to go through. it is a nice table. the base weight is for high winds so umbrella doesnot blow over. we donot have a problem. good luck
