Answer:	I doubt it. But you shouldn't have it where it can have a chance to fall into the water in the first place.

Answer:	Sadly there is no control on this cheapie....I tie knots on the line (1 to 2 or 3) here and there and just tighten them till it's bubbling the way I want it. Works just fine. It is quite strong for such a little pump, but a bit to much for my 2 gal Beta tank. So knots it is. Have a great day!

Answer:	Contrary to some other answers, this pump doesn't come with anything else in the box except an instruction sheet. You'll need tubing and valves and air stones and anything else you want to use with it.

Answer:	Thank you for inquiring about this Tetra product, F. Donia! This would work for your application just fine as long as the air pump has a place where it can sit, protected from the weather. It does not have to be indoors, but you would want to place some type of a cover over it such as a wooden box, etc. It comes with two air stones, but you can use either just one, or both of them. This pump has a rating of 100 gallons per hour, and is recommended for ponds up to 5000 gallons. It will not keep the entire surface free of ice, but will definitely keep a nice size hole in it, for gas exchange. Depending on what part of the country you live in, I do not know if it will keep a large enough area open for several cattle to drink at once. You may want something like our Tetra Pond Water Garden Pump 550 instead. This is what I am using in a horse water trough this winter. Mine is only about 12-18 inches deep, however, so this size pump keeps a good bit of water movement going across the entire surface. Your tank is bigger so you may want the next size up. You would certainly get a trickle of air at this depth, but whether it would be enough for your purpose is uncertain. We limit our test to 2 feet of water and as such do not have a measure of air flow for a seven foot depth. Seven feet of water is approximately 3 psi of back pressure whereas two feet is 0.867 psi; a rather significant change. For two feet of water the flow is ~ 3.3 lpm. At three times the depth, the flow will likely be a third at best.Assuming you are wanting to aerate the water, one should also consider that the apparent volume of the pond is about 3+ times the typical volume, based on the depth given. Answer:	Attempted to install this on Saturday but upon opening the package i discovered that It is missing one check valve and one flow control valve. I emailed the manufacturer Tetra pond about the missing parts and they replied telling me to purchase the parts at a local store. I have already paid for them.
