I think it is meant to be more of a look you are looking for. The price probably comes from an old fashion looking type light rather than for utility (although like I said above, the do work great). I love mine- it gives off a nice golden glow!

About Brightness

You can’t compare light bulbs watt for watt if you’re interested in brightness. It’s all about the lumens.

The brightness of Edison bulbs is not as much as their traditional incandescent equivalents. This is desirable and intentional.

If a 60 watt Edison Bulb provided the same amount of light as a typical incandescent, the filament would be too bright to look at and appreciate.

The amount of light, or brightness, a light bulb provides is measured in lumens.

Don’t use wattage as a guide. Wattage is a measurement of how much power is consumed by the bulb. Lumens tells you how much light is created.

Notes on compatible lighting fixtures

When you’re buying a new fixture, take a close look at the dimensions of the fixture.

For sconces, pay attention to the distance from the junction box mounting to the top of the shade or fixture. Make sure you have clearance in the location for the sconce, taking heat from the light into consideration.

For pendant lights and chandeliers, pay attention to the drop length of the pendant, or the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the light.

For a work surface like a desk, you want 2-3 feet from the surface to the light.

For a dining table, you want about 3 feet.

For a kitchen island, the light can be higher, but keep in mind you lose the effectiveness of the light if it’s too high.

The text and color are the same as shown on the six bulbs in the picture description, except it's approximately 10-12mm (almost half an inch) higher on the bulb than what the picture shows.

Question:	what is the input voltage of the edison bulb e
Answer:	We replaced lights in our kitchen. These bulbs are nice and bright. I am not sure exact dimensions but they are clear glass and looks great.
Question:	Can these antique edison bulbs be used outdoor
Answer:	No problem so far with flickering However, I did not like the yellow tint emitted by these bulbs and ordered bulbs with 5000 kelvin (white tint) to go in my main light fixtures. I left these in the bathroom and work out room.
Question:	Do yo have E12 base
Answer:	The daylight white is very white, not yellow at all. The warm white ones are a really nice white with a warm yellow tone, but not too yellow. Hope this helps.
Question:	These vintage light bulbs are leds or incandescent
Answer:	I have them installed on a light fixture without them being enclosed. However, they do not get very warm to the touch at all. I would say they would be fine. Fwiw, I have a different LED bulb that is in an enclosed glass jar with no issues

Answer:	It should. I had problems with the one I had trying to find bulbs that worked. LED lights wouldn't work. This one said replacement for incandescent so I tried them and they do work.

Answer:	Presumably by asking if they are teflon coated you are asking if they are shatter proof, some times silicone is used is why I say this. The packaging does not specify shatter proof.

LED (lasts a long time, ok light quality, but can also trigger migraines, doesn’t get very hot. Very low energy usage.)
