Answer:	The mold problem has NOT been fixed! I first bought this product in 18’ and was very happy with the first several bags. Then something happened in 20’ and they came covered in mold. I’ve bought 4 5lb bags since late October and 3 out of the 4 were moldy. My Portuguese Water Dog loves this chew but I’m not sure I can trust the next ones to be better. I really want this product to get back to its former self because it was great! The 4th bag was the wrong kind but was not moldy. I’m hoping my next order will be correct and not moldy... they are worth the risk.

Question:	How long do these stay fresh
Answer:	The packaging is quite thick, so I cut the top open and close back with a simple "chip clip"---my dogs love them so much but I try to limit them to 1 a day---or I cut one in half so they can have 1 1/2 per day. There is absolutely NO ODOR with the twists. To date, there doesn't seem to be an issue with the twists staying fresh. I hope this helps!

The box also lists The Nutro Company at Franklin, TN. I want to mention that aside from English, there is also writing that I think is in the French language, not sure why. Answer:	Not listed on pkg however there are 30 beef rawhide dental chews

Question:	How difficult is it to cut the extra large into smaller pieces
Answer:	We found the thicker ones impossible to cut with scissors or tin snips. The only thing we found to cut them with are bolt cutters. You have to make a cut on one side and then flip the chew and finish the cut on the other side. We also use a pair of vice grips firmly clamped to one corner of the chew to help prevent our dog from swallowing a large piece and choking. Our dog will hold onto the vice grips with her paws as leverage when chewing on the chew.
Question:	Is it rawhide, my older lab can't chew that
Answer:	Not the way you think. It is not a solid sheet of animal flesh: rather it is a composite material that is pressed and formed. The fabrication is made of animal flesh and enzymes. If there is a medical reason your dog can't have it, then stay away. However, these chews are much much softer than traditional rawhide and they are easier to work with. My Lab finishes one in about 5 minutes, long enough to keep his teeth clean.

Answer:	10 minutes - longer if you place them in a puzzle toy. My dog is about 20-25 pounds, 6 months old with all of her adult teeth. She likes them, but I would not desribe them as "long lasting".
