Question:	Do you split the antlers? Cutting them lengthwise
Answer:	I am not sure about that, but they are very hard and tough. my dogs use them for months.
Question:	It says the two pack size are 7-8 inches for the xxl but the single xxl is 8.5-10 inches. Is there a two pack for the larger size
Answer:	Well this is a US company, however not sure where the Elk antlers would have come from as they are just collected from roaming elks who have materially shed the antlers (and China has a large Elk population so no idea).

Answer:	I am sorry; my dogs have already devoured them; I only know what it said on the package as grass-fed, free-range. I assumed this meant the animals, as bully sticks do not graze. I don't mean this as being flip, I just have to do the best I can to read as much as I can and then have faith. Other than making them myself, which is not practical, I figure this is better than rawhides.

Answer:	My dogs are 50 and 70 lbs. and I give them the 6" bully stick. I started buying the ones from Downtown Pet Supply because they seem to be thicker overall and come in a 30 pack. The ones that are super thick go to my 50 lb. pup and the regular thickness goes to my 70 lb. dog. They last longer because they're thicker and my dogs are both crazy about them. It also helps keep my pup out of trouble :)

Bully Sticks are single ingredient beef dog chews made from the pizzle tendon of the bull. Question:	What's the shortest time (# of hours) your active chewer took to completely remove all the marrow from an Almost-Large Split Elk Antler
Answer:	Hi Leo, thanks for asking. It could be an hour and it could be months. It really depends on how aggressive a chewer your dog is. Because the marrow is exposed, dogs can make quick work of a split. If you have a heavy chewer, I always recommend the split antler in the beginning to show your dog the tasty center. Once he understands that, I move to whole antlers. I offer different sizes of split antlers (and whole) depending on your dog. Question:	I have a mix yorkie and shihtzu weighing about 9-10lb. Which elk antler do you recommend
Answer:	Before seeing my vet last week, I would have recommended the split antlers. My dog loved them. However, the vet said that they have had several dogs I who have chewed these and wound up with "foreign bodies" in their digestive system and have required surgery so we had to take them away from our dog. Our dog was fine and had never had a problem, but we decided not to take a chance.

Answer:	Hi Christy, I would recommend our (JimHodgesDogTraining) Large Singles or Large 2-Pack Elk Antlers. The next question would be split or whole? If I knew my dog was a chewer, I would order the whole (more bang for your dollar and a little safer). If not, I may recommend the split. The split exposes the marrow so a dog understands what is in the middle. Once they know what is inside, I would go back to the whole ones. Question:	What color is the marrow inside your bone? One of ours had a brownish, radish marrow and the next had white. Which color is yours? I am worried one
Answer:	Got the antler for my Dog for Christmas. The marrow was the reddish brown you are talking about. “Doc” had it chewed down to about 4 inches in about 6 weeks. No ill effects. I may be wrong but I believe that the ones that are the reddish brown color are fresher newer antlers and the white ones are older. They last longer because they are more dried out and harder. Hope the next time I order one I get a white marrow one.

Answer:	I really don't know. They state that they are 100% shed so I assume that they are "harvested" when the elk shed their horns which they do annually, I believe.

Answer:	Both of the antlers in our Split Twin Pack (2 pack) will be split. We currently do not offer combo packs that contain both Whole and Split chews, so you can be assured that each chew in your Split 2-pack will be a split antler.
Question:	I have two small dogs. Are these to tuff for my chiihuahuas? I had a medium size dog and he broke a tooth on an atler chew stick
Answer:	If your dog is an aggressive chewer, you may try a very small size. My dog is an aggressive chewer and loved them. However, she ended up breaking 2 molars (one on each side) and surgeries to fix the damage. I hesitate recommending them to anything but the largest and sturdiest of dogs.

Question:	What are lengths of bones for small breed
Answer:	I've ordered 4 packages so far and each package has different sizes. But I would say the bully sticks are around 5 to 6 inches. The antler piece is a bit smaller. I buy these for two Yorkies...one is 7lbs the other is 11lbs and both have no problem with chewing all the items included.

Question:	Are the antlers good for older dogs
Answer:	I'm not sure how old your dog is but mine is 3 and LOVES them. An older dog would probably like them and would take their time with it. My dog can eat most of it in one day but I take it away after a while. I give her the split antlers so she can eat them easily. I would buy one and see how your dog responds to it.

Answer:	They are shed from wild elk and collected, and then cut and sanded by the company (no extra processing, and not artificial ingredients made to look like an antler as with some products sold in pet stores). I agree with the other poster, the company has amazing customer service and will get back to you quickly with other questions. My pup now has 3 and they have lasted months, and only one is just now starting to wear down (and hes a 7 month pit, very aggressive chewer!). 100% worth the money
Question:	Golden Retriever puppy 8wks old..What size should I get him, will these splinter and full or split antler
Answer:	They do not splinter. For 8 week old I'd get split. And I'd get one approx 5 inches long. Dogs LOVE them and it's a great distraction to keep them from wanting to chew inappropriate household things.
Question:	Is a split bone better/safer for a dog? what is the difference between the large bone and the large-split bone
Answer:	The split bone has the marrow exposed and readily available for dogs to chew on. Whole bones (antlers) do not and can take more time to break down to get to the marrow. As far as what is safer, depends on your dog. If your dog is a big or obsessive chewers I would recommend the split because it has the marrow readily available and they won't tend to chew till their teeth crack. These antlers are hard.

Answer:	Hi Rosalie, they are not produced in the USA. The cattle are from South America where the cattle are free range. Our bully sticks unlike some others are only washed with water, no chemicals. You can try them risk free, you will not be disappointed. They are a healthy all natural dog chew and most of them are quite thick.
