The cart will support the rear end at the normal standing height but the supportive leg rings are flexible and he/she will have the sensation of squatting and can semi spread their legs while in the cart to eliminate. Is your dog female or male? The supportive rings are covered with closed cell foam and have a gap to allow feces, and or females, urine to fall through. If you have a male pet, the penis will be forward of the supportive rings, so they won't interfere at all. Now, if a little urine or feces does happen to splash onto the supportive rings, you can wipe them clean and since the foam is closed cell it won't absorb into them. Answer:	will not. But don't soak it in the water for a long time, it will deform the glove. If the s gloves are dirty, it is recommended that you wash your hands with water instead of the washing machine. Answer:	The thumb and forefinger are designed to allow use with touch screens, and they do work. I do need to use a slight bit more pressure with my Kindle, but everything else I've tried works just fine. Other fingers on the gloves are not for touch screen.

I bought one for my Golden Retriever based on the measurements they say will work (she's only 19" high) so I bought the Medium (up to 20"), but it is not wide enough and will not adjust far enough so I had to go to a machine shop and have longer pieces machined. She didn't like it at first, so start by using it for a couple of minutes and gradually work your way up in 5 min increments.Unfortunately for me, the bone cancer/spinal collapse & spinal cord compression have advanced to total loss of use of her hind legs and she has never been able to back up to use the sit option. If I knew then what I know now, for MY situation, I would just buy the basic wheelchair
