Answer:	We have a Cocker Spaniel 25 pounds and we have the medium. It is the perfect size. We measured and ordered the small when he was 6 months but it was too small.

• Unbuckle the chest straps and loosen the neck straps.
• Slide the neck loop over your dog's head. The Logo “rabbitgoo” should be up on the back of the dog harness.
• Arrange the bottom straps between your dog’s two front legs, under the belly.

• After properly positioning the dog harness on your dog's body, buckle both side buckles up.
• Use the 4 adjusting straps (2 around the neck, 2 around the chest) to adjust the dog harness. Slide the adjuster and pull/push the straps through the adjuster to create a good fit.

*** When the dog harness is well adjusted, you should be able to fit 2 fingers between the harness and any part of your dog's body. The dog harness should fit snugly without restricting your dog's movement. If you can fit more than 2 fingers in, the dog harness may be too large.

Answer:	My dog measures 36" at the deepest part of his chest. Fully let out, I think it would fit your dog. It has a leash ring at the top, and one at the bottom (between front legs). It is made of nylon, as are the fasteners. It's very sturdy and we are very happy with it. The dog is comfortable wearing it. I hope this helps.

Answer:	My dog isn't that big. She is medium build.

Answer:	My dog is a yellow lab with a 33" chest girth and weighs 78 pounds. The XL works quite nicely for her and there is at least 3" of expansion room on each side snap. I don't know the measurements on the large but think it could be border line with a 32" girth and certainly not much room for growth.

Answer:	I have never dealt with cats, but see no reason that this harness would not work for a cat.

Answer:	They're plastic but super strong. I've tried so many harnesses and this one is the BEST!
Question:	How does the seat belt strap work? Do they need to be laying down or can they sit
Answer:	I got my 30 pound dog a medium and it adjusts quite a bit. But if you measure your cats chest right under her front legs you'll get a measurement of probably around 5 inches or so and there should be a list of measurements for sizes. That is VERY accurate! Hope this helps!

Answer:	Short Answer: No. This Ruffwear Front Range Harness is not meant to protect your dog from the effects of a car crash. It is not heavy duty enough for keeping your dog safe in a car crash. Ruffwear does have a special harness, a car safety seat belt for your dog called the RUFFWEAR LOAD UP HARNESS that has been crash tested and is made of tested components that will protect your dog in a car crash. My dog has an earlier version of the Ruffwear Load Up Harness which saved my dog's life when we were in a very bad accident when someone rear ended our car and totaled my minivan. I have the Ruffwear Webmaster Pro Harness (for every day walking and easy trail hikes) and also the Ruffwear Doublack Harness (for challenging/difficult rough terrain and mountain hiking) for each of my large breed dogs (120 lbs, and 50 lbs). I ordered this Front Range harness but sent it back because my dogs managed to wiggle out of it pretty quickly. Only the Ruffwear Web Master and the Double Back are "escape proof". Spend the extra money for the Load Up Harness. Your dog's life may depend on it. I also have the Ruffwear Float Coat (my dogs don't displace enough water to swim well. Pre -adjust the harness with metal adjusters to the approximate size of your dog's girth.

Release the buckle,open the harness ,Slide your dog's head through the dog harness neck piece and secures with buckles on either side of his chest.

• The upper picture refers to the minimum neck position; the lower picture refers to the maximum neck position.
• To extend the neck straps, pull the neck slider away from the logo, bringing it closer to the front leash attachment ring.
