The smallest of my Border Collie pups was 8 pounds at 9 weeks old and her collar was adjusted to between 11 and 12 inches. Given that the extra small only goes up to 10 inches and the small starts at 12 (which you'll never really get to due to the label and web overlap), I'd look for a different brand that has a size range from about 10 to 15 inches. |

HOW TO CHOOSE AND USE:
1. Measure neck circumference so as to choose the correct size.
2. Properly adjust collar size to be close to the neck circumference , wear on the dog, and finally adjust tightness.
WARM TIPS: Since there are differences between dogs, if the dog is no growing any more, please choose the most suitable size. If the dog is still developing , please choose a large size.
Please measure the actual size of the dog’s neck, collar need to be 3-4cm /1.18in-1.57in. larger than the neck.
Once you've selected the proper size, simply place the larger opening over your dog's head. Adjust to fit by pushing the polyester through the slide. When tightened with a leash or by grasping the smaller polyester loop like a handle, the two metal rings should touch directly behind your dog's ears. Attach tags to these rings rather than the D-ring. The smaller polyester loop will lie flat after few days of wear.
