Answer:	The AC adapter that comes with it is a normal wall plug in with a110vac US plug. It steps it down to 12VDC. I imagine it would be easy to adapt if your country uses 220v.

Answer:	I have used a litter maid as long as its been on the market and I have never used or seen litter maid litter. I use tidy cat clumping litter. In fact I have started using the feather lite tidy cat litter and that works well too.

Answer:	Manufacturers response is bogus. I have 3.1 and 3.2. 3.1 is about six months old and I have had almost no problems with it. 3.2 is total garbage. Never cleaned well. Always looks dirty. The comb set up makes it so it doesn't rake well. It jammed every day until it died last week. It is 3 months old. Do not waste your money on 3.2! (And the blue color shows all the cat litter dust so that was just stupid design).

Answer:	I’ve had littermaid boxes since the 1990s and have used many brands of litter. My current favorite is Arm&Hammer clump and seal Slide. This litter clumps well and is less prone to sticking to the bottom of the box and seems to track a bit less than other boxes. Also keeps smell under control as well as fresh step which was my second favorite when litter is changed every 7 days for 1 cat.

Answer:	I have 2 older model litter maid. A single cat and a multi cat. The ones that are taupe colored. I'm down to just the single cat box now as I tried using crystal litter in the multi box and it killed it. Wish I could get that model again as from what I've been reading about the new 3.2 it eventually turns into a manual box. It also says that it only cleans after 20 minutes after the cat does it's business. I can't imagine your cat's poop smell is different than mine but the model I have cleans 5 minutes after the cats done and even then I can smell it until it's contained. I'm still researching the other options for less than $$$. Don't like the cardboard tray of one type but just found out that you can buy a permanent tray vs having to replace it and making more unrecyclable trash. And it also has a 5-10-15 minute timer. The litter robot is quite expensive so I'm going to try the scoop free. But if they still had the version I have I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. Hope this was somewhat helpful.

Answer:	The plastic ramp has little hooks on either side that hang on a rod by the waist receptacle. I would use a Dremel to make a hole in the ramp and use a paperclip to go around the rod. Better yet contact the manufacture and get a replacement for the ramp. The ramp has notches to hold the cover for the waste receptacle when cleaning and falls back in place to close and cover the waste when done so the ramp seems important for the design. Question:	It says a tray lasts 30 days, but my cat's urine always goes through the bottom of the box and the bathroom smells terrible from urine leaks
Answer:	We have one 3 y.o. male cat. In addition to the crystals, I typically add some arm and hammer cat deodorizer both when putting in a fresh tray and again every 10 days or so to help with liquid absorption. This is usually sufficient to get 28-30 days out of the litter without worrying about a strong persistent urine smell.
Question:	I've had mine three weeks and my cat refuses to use it. I will have to send it back soon. Any suggestions on getting him to use it
Answer:	My only suggestion is this: try using 1/2 CRYSTALS & 1/2 of your regular kitty litter that you were using. I did this for my 3 cats and they all took to it fine. After a couple of weeks, I was able to stop using the old litter & now I only use the Crystals which last so much longer. Good luck, because it is a wonderful litter box!

Answer:	The litter robot is, bar none, the best automated litter system out there (and has been for many years). The only downsides of the litter robot are the size (it’s so, so big on the outside for being not that big on the inside, and won’t even fit in a smaller bathroom. The other downside is the cost, but I’ll be honest and say that it’s worth every penny in the long run. If you have the space, and you can afford it, get the litter robot and don’t look back. Fwiw, we have 7 cats at the house right now (2 of ours, 4 foster kittens who are nearly full grown due to Covid shelter closures, and a cat we rescued who is going to his new home next week), and a single litter robot is EASILY handling 7 cats worth of waste. We just change the little plastic bag in the bottom drawer every other night instead of once a week. It’s amazing, there’s zero smell, it works for years without issue (this is our second. Our first lasted 6 years for 4 cats).

Answer:	There are only 3 differences, and for the record, I bought the Original and I love it and it does fine for what I need. So here are the differences:1) Ultra has a Privacy Hood. I don't need that. My cat has no shame. She can go out in the open. If your cat is used to having a little more privacy, maybe you should get the Ultra. But if not, it's not worth the price increase (although it looks like, right now on Amazon, the Ultra is actually $4 cheaper, so...).2) The Ultra has an Adjustable Rake Delay. Now, I can see how this might be an attractive feature. The Original has a preset delay, and I'm guessing it's about 20 minutes (the max setting on Ultra). That can be kind of gross because I don't know why the waste would need to sit that long before being scooped. So with the Ultra you can shorten that time to 5 or 10 minutes if you prefer.The thing about the rake delay is that on the Original (and probably Ultra too) there's a button so you can manually control the raking. This means that if I'm home and my cat makes it stinky, I can walk over to the machine, push the button, and the rake will scoop because I told it to. When I'm not home, the smell obviously doesn't bother me. So this is like a luxury feature if you don't want to go push that button every once in a while. But for my needs, the Original is just fine. 20 minutes is fine. If she only urinates, then I don't need it to scoop right away, and if I'm around when she makes a poo, I can just go over and push a button. If you don't want the waste ever sitting in the tray for 20 full minutes, then get the Ultra and you can program it to scoop at 5 or 10.3) The Ultra has a Health Counter. I have a kitten, and she's fine. I'm not overly worried about her health. But if your cat is older, this is a way for the box to track how often your cat is using the box. I suppose if the box feels your cat is using it too frequently, it might be able to alert you to a health problem so you can take your cat to the vet. But for me, I don't need it.The Health Meter doesn't measure the "life" of the litter. It isn't like "Oh, this litter is getting pretty gross in here you should probably put in a fresh tray." And that, to me, might be more useful. But it's not a huge deal as it's pretty apparent when you need to change trays because the crystals get more white than blue.So like I said, I have the Original and I love it and it's perfect for what I need out of an automatic litter box. However, if you have an older cat, a more sensitive nose combined with limited mobility, or your cat is used to privacy, the Ultra is the one for you.With all that info, again, I notice that the "luxury" version is currently cheaper on Amazon. If it had been that way when I bought mine, I might've bought the Ultra just to get the extra features and save 4 bucks.Hope that helps.

That means I get to see the whole cats, and the people on the other side see the cat heads, with the sun gleaming on their green marble eyes. The same way any critter travels along the tops of fences. Answer:	I bought a set purely for garden decor because it's a joke that neither my living cats nor this set of "scare cats" has any impact on keeping rabbits away from plants. Deer, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, mice, opossum, groundhogs and skunks wander by the "scare cats" at all hours of the day and night without a second glance. You might want to try one of the organic or chemical deterrents that are available in granules and spray. Check with your local AG office to see if anyone has any suggestions. I've just learned that the critters were here first so I don't let the wildlife bother me too much and I'm thankful for a really good local farmer's market where I can buy produce that someone else has saved from the bunny population.

Question:	What's the difference between ultra and regular
Answer:	Ultra has the lid which is why it is $169.00 without the lid it is $139.00. The base of the litter box at a step counter (how many uses) and timer intervals of 5/10/15. The 2nd generation appears to have a small front lip which my cats tender to pee towards the front so with shorter front step the pee gets on the cardboard replacements. I have both ultra and 2nd generation- with two cats I prefer the ultra. In my opinion it is made better. The 2nd generation doesn’t have the timer intervals and the front step is cheaply made.
Question:	How do you know it's time to change the tray? We have a kitten, so will it go longer at first
Answer:	I change the litter (we use the Forever Litter Tray) after about 24 uses - that's about 4-5 days in our house with 2 cats. Our cats must pee in larger amounts, because at 24 uses, I start to notice a smell from the box and the litter looks saturated. I see other owners that get 50-100 uses before they change out the litter. For a kitten, they would pee in smaller amounts, so it should last quite a bit longer.

Answer:	I got the pet safe scoop free ultra about 6 months ago and just love it. I have 3 cats that are inside/outside and have to change it every couple months. I got the plastic litter tray that was an extra $50. I've since found crystal kitty litter at Walmart for 1/2 the price of pet safe, but haven't tried it, just saw it over the weekend.

The key to this system is to change the crystals after so many uses, not by days. Some people say to change when the counter hits 100. I prefer 70 in my case. Question:	Is this a good product when you have multiple cats
Answer:	Any good quality clumping litter works.
Question:	Do these receptacles fit the LM model
Answer:	There is a grill on the inside of the Roll 'N Clean that separates the clumps of Litter and cat feces when the Litter Box is rolled onto its hood. It really is very simple. You start by rolling the litter box to the right (if you are looking at the front of the litter box). As you can see from the photo the right side of the Roll 'N Clean is rounded. When you roll it the litter is sifted through an internal grill. The grill is small enough that the litter can go through however the clumps and cat feces won't go through. This means the clean litter is separated and ends up in the bottom right compartment. When the litter box is rolled onto its hood the dirty parts (clumped litter and feces) then slide off of the grill into the tray (you can see the handle of the tray on the right hand side in the middle of the picture). You then roll the litter box back to its normal position and the clean litter flows back out into the bottom of the box while the dirty part is kept in the tray that you can then pull out and empty into the garbage. The whole process only takes about 20 seconds and it is really easy. There are videos on Amazon that show how it works if you still have questions. This really works well and it is so easy to use.

Answer:	They are made with small plastic spikeS and they do work well for keeping cars from pooping in the garden. They lay flat and the many spikes stick up. They might prevent rabbits from hopping there. I’m not sure

Answer:	no I have not but I don't believe a fox would want to walk on these sharp spikes of plastic. the only drawback is the cost of trying to cover every inch of the territory you want to protect. I have spent $60. so far on these so far. But this is better than having cats use my flower beds for a litter box.

Answer:	Thank you for such a great question! The diameter of both versions is about the same, around 19”, but we have re-positioned the conveyor and made some plastic pieces in the bowl smaller, giving your cat about 20% more usable space in the litter bowl. The bowl is also deeper with a higher litter guard, ensuring that litter stays in the actual bowl.
Question:	I had the previous model of this litter box. I loved how it worked, but the motor burned out twice in a year. How long is the warranty for this model
Answer:	The first year, the motor broke three times. They sent me new litter boxes each time. The third time, the guy sent me the new model with a motor that can be removed. That litter box lasted quite a while. It just broke again (probably my fault for letting the box get so full), and they are sending me a new motor. It's way past the warranty date on the original box that I received. So, although the motors do break somewhat frequently, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this box. The new model has a good motor, and when they break, the company replaces it. I have no worries about durability when their customer service is second to none.
