I truly doubt they used this kind of recovery collar on dogs back in the mid-seventeenth century, since they weren't invented until the 1960s.

Answer:	I have the baskets adhered to a glass shower wall. However? I can tell you the adhesive od very strong, so much as it is almost impossible to remove the backing without extraordinary means. The backing sticks immediately too. I dont see why it wouldn't adhere to tile. If you mean grout when you refer to "linings", the only problem i can imagine is the backing would have slight gaps because a tiled wall is not an even surface. But again the adhesive is very, very strong.

Answer:	Mine is attached to tile. I have no doubt it will come off of the tile without damage. If you don't have tile (or another equally hard surface) then Im not sure.

Answer:	Yes! My dog is around 25 lbs and I cut about 10 inches off of the adjustable collar-almost enough to make another collar. I have only had to use the correction levels up to 26, so there are plenty of levels higher for those bigger or more stubborn dogs. I've been working with a dog trainer to help me give the correction at the right time and used a leash for the first 3 weeks. Using the leash helped me guide my dog into the preferred behavior immediately after the correction so she was not confused as to why she was just corrected. It has completely transformed my dog's behavior and I'm very pleased with the product. If this is your fist electronic collar please make sure you get some tips or work with a trainer. If you do not guide your dog into the behavior you want you will get a very anxious dog afraid to move or do anything. That was my only complaint with this product-in needed some tips for newbies like me. You will love your "new" dog!

Answer:	Yes, although described as a "mini" this e-collar will work for most dogs if used correctly. You might need to shave a small patch for the collar to make contact. If you haven't done so, please watch the leerburg videos on using the e-collar, particularly the one by Micheal Ellis. The dog needs to learn behavior that stops the stimulation. If introduced correctly, i.e., the dog learns that he has control of the stimulation, the e-collar works for most dogs. Answer:	The answer to that depends specifically on your dog and the training you've done.I have a scent/sight hound and I would never trust him without any tools. He can tell when he has on a shock collar vs a buckle collar vs a choke chain vs a martingale collar. He listens perfectly off leash with this ecollar (I only have to use the vibrate function to remind him sometimes) but I know that if I put him out with a different style of collar and no leash that he would not listen nearly as well (and he might run off into a potentially dangerous situation).

Answer:	It depends on how resourceful your dog is. I have a German Shepherd, she uses it for a pillow most of the time. If you inflate it completely it should keep your pet from licking her paws.

Answer:	It will if you have the correct size for the dog, they won't be able to reach their paws with their tongue. These are great, tried many have a pug, small dog with the large neck, not many would fit. Many sizes with these and one that fit perfectly.

Answer:	I use it to cut my 10 lb dog nails. It’s the only thing that works for me and I’ve tried everything. She would bite my hands and face. A muzzle doesn’t work, she fights me to put it on and I get bitten. Vets want to put her to sleep to cut her nails and I won’t do that. She was an abuse dog before I got her. The cone works well I cut her nails every two weeks.

Question:	My dogs neck measured at 11 inches. But the sizes go from 10.5 to 13. Should I order a small or medium
Answer:	Measure your cat's neck and it should tell you what size to get. I used the 6.7-9" cone for my kittens and small yorkies and used the tightest setting. The beautiful thing about these cones is how adjustable they are. I have used them over and over and they are still in great shape.
Question:	What are you supposed to measure for this
Answer:	My cat is 10 pounds and we set it to the middle adjustment. There is one adjustment larger and one smaller. Be aware that a clever cat can work out of it with their back paws. We added a strap by sewing on a loop onto the collar to slip through a tie/strap to go behind and around the front legs/torso to help keep it on.
