Answer:	Yes - I sprayed it all over my couch - separated the pillows and cushions and let everything sit overnight and in the morning put my couch back together. There is no odor or staining. Stuff is wonderful. Only had to use it once.

Answer:	At least 24 hours. I usually spray their bedding outside. Just be careful not to inhale the fumes. Great product, you might want to try the Adam's carpet powder for the rugs.Just sprinkle on,wait 2 hours and then vac.

Answer:	I haven't used Raid for many years and don't know about the toxins listed on a can of it. I do know that Raid would be poisonous to animals or people, if ingested. I have used Adams spray for a very long time. It has never caused any side effects in any of the animals I have used it on. It is a very effective product that I rely on for flea control for my dogs as well as the wildlife animals that I rehabilitate. I wouldn't necessarily judge the product by how it smells.
Question:	Should I shampoo the carpet & furniture before I use the spray
Answer:	To anyone wanting to shampoo their carpets before using this. Don't. It may kill some of the existing fleas but it will actually cause eggs to hatch. Vacuum like crazy, spray the vacuum container, close it back up and let the fleas in there die. Empty it. Get some 20 mule team Borax and shake it all over your carpet and couch, and fabric furniture and sweep it in and let it stay down. It will help dry up the eggs, and dehydrate the fleas. Every time you vacuum, make sure you put some more back down. Use the Adams to spray your house. This stuff is excellent. I also recommend using flea traps that use a night light and sticky paper. That way you can keep tabs on how you are doing, by the number of fleas that you find in the traps. I also want to state, that Harts and Sargeant, and off brand flee drops for your pets shoulder blades DO NOT WORK! Please don't waste your money. Either get Advantage or Frontline. Or you can get Capstar of Comfortis, which are oral treatments. I hope this helps people. I worked in the Grooming industry for many years and have helped a lot of people effectively get rid of their fleas. Good luck, and please gives these tips a try. It is a lot better than bombing your house. You can also initially have an exterminator come to your house. But you will have to maintain your prevention routine for several weeks. You should be able to restore peace in a flea free home in about a month. Also, this can be used for other insects as well. You can spray a flying wasp and it will fall dead within seconds.

Answer:	Most essential oils are toxic to cats. Normally we, and other animals, have an enzyme in our liver to break down the components of essential oils. However, cats do not have this enzyme. So, the toxic components of the oils biomagnify (build up) over time, and cause severe liver damage, neurological issues, immune system failure, and eventually death. Think of it this way, dogs cannot have too much chocolate for a very similar reason. Their bodies were not designed to digest and break down cacao like ours is. Eventually, too much chocolate will kill them.
Question:	What is the difference between this product (for cats) vs the same home spray marketed toward dogs? And why is this one so much more expensive
Answer:	Brittany's answer is not exactly correct. Close, though. The "cat" version simply reduces the amount of clove oil (eugenol) and the surfactant, sodium lauryl sulfate. Thank you to Vet's Best for being on top of that. The "cat" version will work just fine on dogs and as a spray for bedding and carpet. It is cedar oil that is toxic to cats (and who else?) and this product does not contain that.

Answer:	My indoor only cats got fleas from a neighbor who had a huge infestation and didn’t tell me. I decided to be proactive and bought the killer of all killer sprays- Precor. I sprayed it along the baseboards of the rooms where my cats spend the most time. But I did all the usual “tests” to see how extensive my flea issue was (I.e. soap flea traps, white socks) and did not catch any so I felt my problem was “light” as I only found fleas (1-3) on my cats. But I did vacuum daily and mop every 2 days. You can use it on furniture but I would suggest you only use around hidden areas (underneath cushions or seat) as fleas do not live on the exposed areas. But vacuum those as well. Vacuum, vacuum, vacuum is the key as well as using a preventative in your pets!

Question:	Will this product damage hardwood floors
Answer:	It has not damaged our wood baseboard. We have laminate flooring that we sprayed it on with no problems
Question:	do you vacuum after use
Answer:	Yes, vacuum all flooring (carpets, hardwood, tile, etc.) and furnishings, cat-trees, etc. before application. Apply per directions, and wait 2-days before vacuuming again. We apply it to the furniture and cat-tree as well, because fleas will avoid the carpets and move to the couch/chairs/recliners. I've been using this for years (usually have to treat the house only once per year), and it is the best product on the market for killing fleas. All other brands pale in comparison!
Question:	Can I spray this on my comforter and bed
Answer:	I would not spray this on a comforter. Wash it in hot water and a hot dryer to remove any fleas. The heat should kill fleas. However, after you have vacuumed your mattress and foundation, you could spray them with this flea killer. Fleas are very hard to get rid of and there is just no substitute for cleaning. I use this on the carpet and couch in my room.
Question:	How do u put the sprayer in the jug
Answer:	Don't unscrew the cap! There's a white circle in the middle of the cap. It has a tab and pop it off the sprayer has a red end that fits into the hole. Push until you hear it click. Make sure you pull the cord all the way stretched out and long before you click it in. Hope it helps!

Answer:	It dries as fast as water. That depends on your local environment at the time you apply it.
Question:	is it safe to spray on mattress
Answer:	I've sprayed it on the sides of my mattress didn't have any problems with it.

Answer:	I have both cats & dogs...just keep them off of the area until it's "completely dry"...then it's all good after that.

Answer:	As a vine reviewer, i disagree with Chad's response. I can only speak for myself, but this was the first product i used that actually did ANYTHING to combat my nasty flea infestation. In fact, it's the only thing that has done anything at all (vacuuming, vapor cleaning, baking soda, borax, dehumidifiers, etc).Additionally, there have been studies on Vine reviewers vs. regular reviewers, and they tend to give lower-scored reviews than the general population. just sayin'.

Answer:	Sometimes there will be bugs crawling out. Makes it easier target to kill.

Answer:	I actually wanted to know this as well. It makes no sense to me. It looks like a maze inside. I tried these. Not even one went in or they were able to get back out again.

Answer:	it's immediate as far as killing bed bugs that you see. it takes a few hours to saturate your mattress and box spring to kill the eggs. it should last permanently but if not they say several months and reapply it

Answer:	Mattress sides and box spring only. Do not spray where your body lies on top. Clothing can be put in the dryer on high for 1 hour, this will kill anything on your clothing. Do not spray clothes directly.

Really use for when you see something that got in somehow. I use the home defense. Thats for in/out side. The big gallon one red and white bottle. One good spray around house inside OMG! You won't see any ants nothing. It's really amazing. If you hate some much as a nat or ant or spider. Honestly works on any bug wanna see a fly stop almost instantly. One spray puts anything to the floor. If it's still moving fighting for life. Spray it again. Bug no more. Love it!

Question:	Can you use on your furniture with ot discolor ir stain ? Can you leave on for 24 or48 hours? Or permanently
Answer:	I wouldn't recommend putting it on your furniture, but as long as it's a light coat and you vacuum it soon afterwards, I don't think it will hurt. You can leave the powder in your carpet for 24 hours, which is actually recommended. HOWEVER, that entire area needs to be quarantined. No people or pets should be exposed to it. After the powder has been applied and vacuumed, it should be effective for 6 to 10 months.
