Answer:	I guess it depends on how well they share the same dish and the food. It is a wide enough dish for two to eat at the same time. It can dispense plenty of food each time for four cats. Unfortunately, unless you're physically removing all but one of the cat during feeding time, there's no way to ensure that each cat will get enough food. Each cat should have his or her own separate eating space so that they can be sure that it won't be stolen by a hungrier, more aggressive cat.

Answer:	about 3 quarts or 96 ounces if filled to the rim. 100 oz will not fit

Answer:	We love this water bowl as well as all three of our cats. Never had water splash out. We do keep a towel under it just in case. The only time it makes noise is when it needs more water. Air siphoning. Let's us know they are using it. There is a variable motor on the pump to also control pressure and noise.

Answer:	I have another Drinkwell model and when it is noisy as described, it means that the lever on the filter is not set low enough (should be around 2:00 setting — keep inching it towards 3:00 until the noise stops, but never should be as low as the full 3:00 position) OR there’s not enough water in the bowl for the filter engine to run smoothly. But the filter is being ruined if you’re getting that loud noise, so you need to fix one or both of the two things above or turn it off. Operation should be quiet!

Remove the blue faceplate by using your finger to pull on the small tab on the side.

Remove the Stator

Remove the blue teardrop shaped stator by pulling up on the small lip.

Question:	How easy is it to tip over
Answer:	I have a big German Shepherd. Love this feeder. He has a dog door so we use this when we're on vaca for up to a week. He has learned he can push it to make a couple of kernerls fall out but he doesn't tip it over and he's an aggressive eater. He's a 125 lbs.

Answer:	Thank you for your interest in this item. This unit holds 24 cups and can dispense up to 12 meals a day. If you use 1 cup per day on a 24 cup capacity that would be 24 days. If they use half that amount (1/2 cup) then it would double it to 48 days.
Question:	As far as the dispensing chute, would a very motivated cat be able to reach their paw up and get food to drop
Answer:	There's not a ton of room between the bottom of the dispensing part and where the bowl is, so it would probably be difficult for the cat to get a good position to reach up into the chute from underneath. In addition, the conveyer belt that moves the food up has fairly rigid plastic dividers, one of which is always right in front, so that would also block little paws if they managed to get up there somehow. I haven't had a problem, but my cat also might be too lazy to try. It doesn't seem to me to be as suceptible to break-ins as some of the other feeders I saw when I was looking to buy.

Answer:	We have had this feeder since Aug 2015 for our 2 small dogs! 1 a 12 lbs poodle and the other a 3 lbs yorkie! This feeder works great for them both had 2 different eating habits and it has tought them they don't have to scarf up there food. That the right amount is in the bowl for both and they have learned tpenjoy eating! they know they will be fed at the same time morning and night! They accually stand at their dish and have learned to share! They have learned what time it will come out and we don't have to rush home to feed our babies! Answer:	I have 2 of these and I just changed my batteries for the first time since getting the product ~2.5 years ago. Both feeders batteries died within ~1 month of each other. For reference I have the feeder turning 5 times a day and was using Amazon Basics brand D batteries.
Question:	My cats need five feeds a day, will I have to re program the machine every day. I am hoping that all I have to do is re fill it
Answer:	No, you don't have to re-program the machine every day. I hope we're talking about the PetSafe 5-tray machine. Because this 2-tray device isn't going to work for you. I have the 5-tray PetSafe product and it's worked very well. (1) Program the current time of day.(2) Program up to 9 different programs (no idea why you'd need that many)In your case, you'd program 4 different set times. Remember, that 1 of the trays is already open, hence no need for a timer.Your 4 programmed times will rotate the remaining 4 hidden trays at the chosen time. So, yes all you have to do is plop some food into the trays each day and you're set. My cat has not managed to open it either, so as far as I'm concerned it's cat proof enough. Good luck.
Question:	Can a Dog turn this unit over, and get to all of the Food
Answer:	This is a very small, very lightweight plastic feeding system and my dog was quickly and easily able to turn it over, slide it around the floor, and attempted to play with it like a dog toy. What's worse, the single AA battery is exposed once installed in the back of the unit (no cover... it could just pop out), so if a dog is mishandling this feeder it could end up eating a AA battery. Best to use this with a CAT or very small dog or puppy only.
Question:	For the 5-meal feeder, has anyone fed wet food with it
Answer:	I put cold wet food that I make in 3 servings and keep in refrigerator until ready to go to bed at 10:30. When I am going to bed I fill one empty tray with ice. My dog has Cushings Disease and wants to eat every 3 hours including through the night. The first feeding is at 11:30 pm. The food stays cool enough although to be safe i eliminate the meat in the last 2 trays that open at 2:30 and 5:00 am. I have had no problems. So far works extremely well and I am finally able to sleep through the night again. Wish I had known about this product a very long time ago!

Take the Pump Apart

Remove the blue faceplate by using your finger to pull on the small tab on the side.

Remove the Stator

Remove the blue teardrop shaped stator by pulling up on the small lip.

Remove the Impeller

Use a fingernail to pull out the impeller, which is held in place magnetically. Clean the pump parts with warm water and soap, then reassemble.

Question:	Is there an on/of switch or must the unit be unplugged to stop it
Answer:	I recommend weekly washing by hand (no dishwasher) in a lightly soapy Dawn bath with very thorough rinse in plain very warm water and towel dry. It's important to disassemble the pump to clean possible hair or slime from the propeller and magnet. I bought my 1st Drinkwell Plat in 2011 and it is still running at my daughter's house with only a pump being replaced recently in 5.5 years. We need to refill the reservoir weekly so that is a good time for us to clean it thoroughly and we have gotten really good at washing all the parts and cleaning the pump in less than 15 minutes. Rinse the filter in plain warm water (no soap) will extend the life as well.
Question:	The plastic reservoir has a musty smell to it. I use bottled water and have washed it with hot soapy water to no avail. Ideas, suggestions
Answer:	I would not advise that given the electrical plug is not rated for outdoor use... I live in FL and there are plenty of mosquitoes inside and I've never seen them lay eggs in water (though I recommend cleaning it at least once a month and exchanging filter).
Question:	How often do you need to disassemble and thoroughly clean this fountain
Answer:	Thank you for your review. Any foamy bubbles on the water's surface can be caused by one of two things. If you use a very sudsy soap when cleaning the fountain, you need to be sure to thoroughly rinse the fountain when cleaning as any soap residue may lead to this. Alternatively, this is your pet's saliva. As your pets take a drink, their saliva can fall into the fountain and float on the water's surface. As the water aerates from the waterfall, this can cause the foaminess you're experiencing. To clean this, we recommend soaking your pet fountain in a 50/50 water and white vinegar solution.
Question:	Can this be used outdoors under a covered porch? And does this have enough water flow to keep mosquitoes from laying eggs in the water

Question:	How long is the cord
Answer:	It's around 4 or 5' and the cord detaches in the middle so you don't have to unplug from the wall and carry the heavy plug.
Question:	Is the creekside gray or white
Answer:	There is no on/off switch, but it is simple enough to unplug. It's about 12-1/2 inches in diameter. There's a splash pan available for this fountain, too, that is about 19 or so inches in diameter. Depending on how messy your pet is, it's a good investment. (My Persians soak water up in their facial hair - those lovely Persian ruffs - and tend to make a mess trying to avoid getting water on themselves. Ha!)
Question:	Are the inside plastic parts BPA free
Answer:	I'm not sure in gallons but I fill it with two pictures of water and depending on how much your puppies drink probably a refill every couple of days....I have 7 doggies of which two are big standard poodles(95lbs each) and the rest are small so I fill this thing twice a day....I'm probably not the best judge of this...the doggies do drink more since the water is moving and that is the 'natural' way of things for doggies so it does attract them to it more. I didn't use any of the spouts on the fountain though as that was just too much noise for my guys so just putting the top on and letting the water run gently down the sides worked best. My big guys wouldn't even go near it with a spout on it...scaredey cats!
Question:	How high does the water level need to be to function properly
Answer:	I've been using it without the filters without any ill effects. The manual says that's OK. I take it apart about every 3-4 days and give it a thorough cleaning; only takes about 10 minutes or less. About once a month, I take the motor out and clean all the removable parts. I have 2 cats and a small dog using the fountain.

Answer:	A standard rain, or even a heavy rain, yes it is ok to use. The top keep the water out, the only way water would get in is if it was a sidewards rain, like a hurricane.
Question:	Is there an alexa skill for this product yet? if not, when will there be? that would be awesome
Answer:	No magnetic seal but seals tight to keep moisture out.

Answer:	I keep my fountain running 24/7 and it's right outside my bedroom as well. I keep my bedroom door partially closed bit the fountain does not bother me. Although I can hear it during the day when all is quiet. It is more of a soothing sound to me. I would say if the sound is going to bother you get a flowing type fountain not one that drips. Aside from that I really recommend this fountain it is my favorite one and is easiest to clean.
Question:	How loud is the fountain? I ask because the fountain woud be in the room next to my bedroom. Do you keep your fountain on all day and night
Answer:	I have this fountain for my cats and love it . I have two cats and I found that when I would change the filter every month the filter would be DISGUSTING. It was slimy and almost like it had a slimy mold/moss growing on the filter (the debris it collected even seemed slightly green-tinted). I've always used my Britta filtered water in this so I decided to give it a try without the filter and it works perfectly fine. I change the water weekly and there are no issues. I feel like because this design is so low to the grown and large a lot of dust/dirt/debris from the floor plus cat fur and cat spit ends up in it so I'm happy replacing their water every week. Also, I'd never want to drink water that old.

Take the Pump Apart

Taking the pump apart to clean helps keep your fountain working optimally. Start by removing the faceplate & keeping it. You may need to use a fingernail inserted into the seam to pry it off.

Remove the Stator

Remove & keep the teardrop-shaped stator by pulling up on the small lip.

Remove the Impeller

Use a fingernail to pull out the impeller, which is held in place magnetically, & keep it. Clean the pump, impeller, stator and faceplate with warm water and soap, then reassemble.

Question:	I would like to know if the charcoal filter is a MUST? Having to change them every two weeks brings a cost I do not want to spend. Answer:	I only use my with acrylic paint and ink dyes on gourds. I don't know if you can use with oil based paints. Or if you can use paint thinners or mineral spirits on them. Good luck. Have a blessed day

Answer:	They do not have a plastic grip, but the handles are thicker than a regular brush and I do like the quality of the bristles better than most others.
