Question:	How do i set this up
Answer:	It was surprisingly simple to set up. Still, I would suggest you watch a couple of YouTube videos for setting up the feeding schedule. After setting the time, press the setting button again to program each feeding. They are numbered 1 - 6. Highlight number 2 then set the time, then the size. Scroll to 2 then continue.
Question:	Why does the blue light flash every 30 seconds all day/night
Answer:	The flashing blue light mean food may be stuck in the dispenser. I have noticed that, if there is already food in the dish that has been pushed back toward the dispenser by my cat, the dispenser does not have enough force to push food out. It will pause and the LED will blink until I move the food forward to make room for more to come out.
Question:	How small can the kibble be? i have royal canine kitten dry and it is tiny
Answer:	The kibble I'm giving my cat right now is pretty small, so I'm sure the one you're using is fine. I think i'd be an issue if the kibble is really big, but not if it's small.
Question:	It says it can dispense 1-50 portions, but how large is each portion
Answer:	Hi! Through trial and error I found that each portion is just about a tablespoon. I had started with "10" and worked my way down to "2" and do 3 feedings a day and that keeps my cat on her toes. No too much to spew everywhere but enough to fill her belly.

Answer:	As the cats eat, the food just comes down. Sometimes I have to shake it a little so the food comes down. Works ok but I had to stop using it because I have one cat that is on a diet so she can’t have access to food all the time. Question:	Is the reserve airtight? My cat doesn’t eat stale food
Answer:	Not sure it is precisely airtight, but it is very secure and you need to press the button and lift the lid at the same time to open - this prevents the cats from opening. The food appears "fresh" as my cats literally run to the feeder and gobble it down when it is dispensed.
Question:	can you operate this on batteries instead of a plug? My dogs would chew the plug
Answer:	Yes; this feeder can run exclusively from batteries or from a power outlet. If you plug it in and lose power, the batteries will act as a backup.
Question:	How do I know whether you sent me the small or large model? I see no label
Answer:	The machine is one size but comes with a small and large food dispensing wheel.
Question:	Will this feeder drop extra food if bumped or nudged
Answer:	It does not! My cat tried several times to dig out some kernels (he’s very crafty) but didn’t manage to get any. The rotary blades sit very firmly, the canister is impossible to tip, and the bowl is anchored in place. This machine (so far) is impenetrable!

Answer:	The multi language booklet says China.. Since I've gotten used to it, I'm happy I got it. The food tray isn't removable so my cat can't get it loose like she did with the Aspenpet I had previously.

Answer:	The food bowl and the control panel are all one piece and do not separate. Only the food storage section at the top (the part that looks like a helmet) separates from the rest.
Question:	What number do i set it to dispense 1/2 cup food
Answer:	Down further in the questions it was answered 1 serving is about 1/8 of a cup, so you could try 4 and see if that's about right. I didn't find out until later that you can adjust the feeding times, so you could set one of the times 5 minutes ahead and use that as your trial. I feed 3 big adult cats with it and 15 leaves extra in the bowl.
Question:	How do I increase the amount of food that is disbursed
Answer:	Simply increase the meal size for every meal that is set to "ON". The range is from 1 to 39. The amount of food increases, the higher the number.

Question:	I'm assembling it now, should the bowl snap into the base? Mine doesn't have the look/fit that it's properly aligned & sits very loose in the base
Answer:	I have tried duct tape, gorilla tape, mounting tape, etc. My cats are too strong, I guess, and always managed to get the bowl out. Now I use a thin, oval headband (think giant rubberband) that goes all the way around the bowl and the feeder. I've used gorilla tape to keep it in place. Two weeks and so far the bowl has stayed attached, which is a record.
Question:	Does this have a counter so you know food is being dispensed
Answer:	I would say ants could def. get to it and proably other bugs too. My cats are able to get their paws up the chute and into a small opening to knock food out.
Question:	How can I attached the bowl more securely as it comes off too easily
Answer:	It's very sturdy for my 13lbs mini dachshund who likes to pull and flip the bowl once the food is gone. If you keep the container full, it holds good weight that makes the unit very sturdy.
Question:	Does it keep ants and cockroaches out of the food that is not dispensed yet
Answer:	It support batteries and plug in the wall charger, a 5V Power Adapter is included in the package, and you can also install batteries to prevent power cut. Hope this can help you.

Question:	How much food & water do they hold
Answer:	It has a flip-top lid that opens on top, and you just pour the feed right in. There is no need to turn the unit upside down, or separate the feed container from the base, but you can still separate them for cleaning. The main problem I had with this unit is the neck at the bottom of the feed container is quite narrow and constrictive. The 6 pound version works much better.
