Question:	My cross rails are 27" on center, when drilling new holes, do I drill new holes at the front or rear
Answer:	By the way you ask your question, I assume your cross rails are not adjustable. You would have to drill at the rear of the carrier, because the carrier starts to bow at the front end only a couple inches past the far front hole. Depending on the contour of your cross rail, you may only have to drill one hole per side, because the mounting holes for each bracket are 4" on center, and the distance from center to center of the mounting brackets is 24", so you are only moving C2C by 3"s. Hope this helps, I would have attached a picture, but see no option for attachments.

Answer:	Fits perfectly on my Toyota Highlander factory fitted aeroblade.
Question:	Does this work on a 2014 hyundai accent hatchback
Answer:	It all depends on the type of roof racks you have. If there not adjustable, it would have to be 22 inches of separation from each other . Or you can also make your own adjustments on the cargo carrier box itself , to make it fit.
Question:	What does this do to gas mileage
Answer:	It does affect MPG on highway speeds. Simple physics, you have much more drag and faster you go the more it affects MPG. I drove 4,200 miles with it, mostly 70-85 MPH and my Highlander's MPG went from the usual 21-22 MPG down to 18-19 MPG. If you drive at low speeds, up to 45 MPH, there is minimal affect on MPG, I have noticed that as part of my trip was driving in Yellowstone and inside RMNP; you definitely cannot go fast in there.

Answer:	It would be difficult to do by yourself unless you can prop up the arms where they line up to the seat and back rest so you can screw them together

Answer:	I used a pair on a bench that measures 25 x 15. My suggestion would be to use no less than 3 legs for the base of a 42 inch round table.

Answer:	Hello! No clips. It has a tie down belt and the four straps that are shown in the image. I used this bag on top of a 2017 Subaru Outback, driving from PA to AL. Because the four straps did not line up with the metal anchor on my car top, I had to tie down by hand wrapping the straps and using the tie down strap. The bag kept sliding back, had to stop every 100 miles to check and tighten straps. The belt has a toothed buckle, but does not hold tight. The bag does catch wind and will sway the car. If your car top does not have tie down frame, this bag may not be best choice unless you buy heavy duty tie downs.
Question:	Can I use a roof top carrier and this one together for a move from IL to FL
Answer:	If you’re questioning whether or not it will fit on top of the roof of a pickup truck, then I would refer to the measurements and compare that to the size of space available on your roof. Otherwise, it should fit in the bed with no problem.

Pack the Carrier

Unscrew your license plate and place it into the sleeve located inside the bag. Load the Car Back Carrier on the ground. Close the zipper and secure the protective flap down.

Attach the Belt Strap

Open the vehicle's rear hatch door just enough to run the belt strap around the inside of the door and close the door over the strap. This strap will be buckled and tightened over the bag once it is attached in the next steps.

Attach to the Vehicle-WITH a Roof Rack

Loop the long side straps around the vehicle's luggage rack, either the rear cross bar or the side rails.

Attach to the Vehicle-Without a Roof Rack

If your vehicle does not have a roof rack, add the Rear Car Clips to the long side straps.

Place the Car Clips in the gap between the vehicle's rear hatch door and roof.

Adjust the Main Straps

Make sure the roof protection pads are face down on the top rear corner of the vehicle. Buckle the long side straps into the short side straps. Adjust the overall length of the straps and move the tri-glides towards the straps' loose ends.

Attach the Bottom Straps

Run the bottom straps through the guides on the bottom of the carrier and around the tow hitch, bumper, or frame. Buckle each strap's end together and adjust the tri-glides so that no excess strap will flap in the wind.

Answer:	I was able to rig it up using just the crossbars on my 2018 CR-V (no rails). First, this is a big bag, so it might hang over the rear crossbar. I was able to secure the rear by attaching it to the trunk, but it was hacky and didn't leave me feeling confident. The instructions that came with this do not explain how to do this with cross bars only, and there are 8 straps. Despite the fact that I hacked it together, I pulled all of the straps tight, and connected all of them to the cross bars / trunk. I basically forgot I even had this bag on the roof - I was on the highway doing 65 MPH on a very windy day, and it worked like a charm. I also used a roof mat to protect the roof, but I do not know if that did anything to help. I think I might get a basket to connect this for next time, but it did work well without it.

Question:	Did any of you use a tarp on top of the c arrier just to make sure it was waterproof? If you did what did you use
Answer:	The design is to secure to an existing rack for greater stability. However, the straps provided allow others without a rack to go inside the car and utilise the doors as security measure instead of a rack. I also seen this during my travels. I don't suggest it, but it's a poor-man's measure when one don't have an existing rack. A warning thought, the cargo back will slide side-to-side based on the weight and air friction (the shape formed from how you pack your cargo bag). I saw a bag slanted 45 to 75 degrees sideway on top of a non-rack roof at high speed.

Answer:	Unsure. I used mine to haul my clothes when I moved. It was great for that and it was packed full. I traveled for nearly a month without a problem on a Nissan Sentra. No roof race on mine either. If your camping gear is wrapped in blankets so it doesn't move around it should be fine.
