Answer:	I have 2 Super Tiny dogs (3lb/6lb) and I bought the other bowls on here that were round and the blue collar they give you was too heavy for them and never triggered the lid. And 1 dog is a super scary dog so the lid would flip it out and she wouldn't eat for 4 full days no matter what I tried, I tried to leave the lid open but she knew it moved and avoided it. Is this lid noisy? Think my dog will be scared to duck under that hoop and will the collar trigger since it has to duck/crouch under that hoop? Any help please on what might be best for my super tiny dogs that are scared of everything? Does this come with a collar tag or do I have to buy that separate?

Answer:	I have 2 of these and I just changed my batteries for the first time since getting the product ~2.5 years ago. Both feeders batteries died within ~1 month of each other. For reference I have the feeder turning 5 times a day and was using Amazon Basics brand D batteries.

Answer:	No, you don't have to re-program the machine every day. I hope we're talking about the PetSafe 5-tray machine. Because this 2-tray device isn't going to work for you. I have the 5-tray PetSafe product and it's worked very well. (1) Program the current time of day.(2) Program up to 9 different programs (no idea why you'd need that many)In your case, you'd program 4 different set times. Remember, that 1 of the trays is already open, hence no need for a timer.Your 4 programmed times will rotate the remaining 4 hidden trays at the chosen time. So, yes all you have to do is plop some food into the trays each day and you're set. My cat has not managed to open it either, so as far as I'm concerned it's cat proof enough. Good luck.
Question:	Can a Dog turn this unit over, and get to all of the Food
Answer:	This is a very small, very lightweight plastic feeding system and my dog was quickly and easily able to turn it over, slide it around the floor, and attempted to play with it like a dog toy. What's worse, the single AA battery is exposed once installed in the back of the unit (no cover... it could just pop out), so if a dog is mishandling this feeder it could end up eating a AA battery. Best to use this with a CAT or very small dog or puppy only.
Question:	For the 5-meal feeder, has anyone fed wet food with it
Answer:	I put cold wet food that I make in 3 servings and keep in refrigerator until ready to go to bed at 10:30. When I am going to bed I fill one empty tray with ice. My dog has Cushings Disease and wants to eat every 3 hours including through the night. The first feeding is at 11:30 pm. The food stays cool enough although to be safe i eliminate the meat in the last 2 trays that open at 2:30 and 5:00 am. I have had no problems. So far works extremely well and I am finally able to sleep through the night again. Wish I had known about this product a very long time ago!

Answer:	I have a 17 lb Russian Blue and a 14lb American Short hair. They share this as I free feed them. One side water and one side food. I refill every morning and occasionally they let me know to give them a little more at night. If we leave overnight I put food in both as they also have a fresh water fountain....yes they are spoiled and I wish I had found this sooner...it is so easy to take care of and it really minimises cleanup, the Russian Blue is a messy eater!! I plan on getting one for my husky as soon as his new brother grows enough to eat out of the big dog bowl....mainly because it is so easy to clean and I am hoping it will minimise the mess the dogs sometimes make.

Question:	Do you make a slash guard bowl for extra large breeds , i.e. Mastiff? This would be perfect for my dog if it were big enough
Answer:	Just wait them out. It took one of mine half a day and the other, who really needed to slow her eating, nearly a whole day. But after a week, when I put their food in a bowl while I washed this one, neither cat would eat until this one was out. They really like "capturing" their food.

Answer:	Nope. Haven't heard any sorts of squeaking.
Question:	How many ounces of water does the bowl hold
Answer:	I had 4 cats in it, happily, and 2 of the cats had 7 kittens all together. I fear some kittens must find new homes, however. It has been a good summer for the cats to be outside, and confined safely. It was difficult to put together, and the "people door" is not easy for in and out. Other than that, I think 2 cats will fit nicely.

Answer:	I didn't put the shelves on mine since any cat can just jump up. So they are optional. But I wasn't happy with this house. I wanted it for a stray cat living in my backyard. Unfortunately the roof leaked. The design is such that the roof is not sealed and will leak. It is still sitting in my backyard collecting spiders. The cat never used it.

Answer:	Sure, mostly, they find out how to use it themselves! :) However, for you comfort, here are some advise on how to make your cat get used to the new bowl: try to add your cat’s favourite smelling treats in it. If your kitty seems to be interested, it will come up to find out what's inside. Repeat this for a couple of days, and then try to change the water to the ordinary one. This will definitely work! :)
