If your cats neck is less than 9 inches then you might be better off ordering kitten sizing. If you are asking how to adjust it you take the part of the collar that has one layer of collar material (part of the collar will have an overlap where you will pull the single part through which tightens the collar) and pull it carefully through the plastic part so there is more area with overlapping collar than without. I find it's easier to start this process before I put the collar on then sort of adjust carefully to fit obviously starting a little more loose so as to not strangle the cat/dog/etc. Definitely make sure the collar isn't too tight or too loose (there are guides to tell you how to do this online). Once tightening the collar to the right length you can clip it on and both you are your furry friend can enjoy :) if it helps clarify any the way you adjust the collar is similar to how a bra strap, seatbelt, or some purse straps tighten. |
