If the cat door is too thick for the door, please use scissors or cutting machine to cut along the line in the width of the frame.

1. Draw outline on the paper board

Draw the cat door frame on a paper board and cut it down.

Note:

You had better prepare these necessary tools first, pencil, ruller, electric saw, drill, screwdriver, double-side tape.

2. Draw outline on the door

Use a pencil draw around the edge of the cut paper on the door you want to be fixed to.

Note:

Generally, average installation height is around 10-15 cm from the floor.

3. Drill 4 corners for holes

Drill 4 corners for thorough holes first with an electric drill.

4. Cut out a tunnel hole

Cut out the tunnel hole with an electric saw starting at holes drilled.

5. Put the cat door in the door

After the tunnel hole is cut out, it's better to wrap around it with a layer of wood skin. And if your hole is cutting a little big, it's quite neccessary.

6. Cut down tunnel depth if necessary

If the cat door is too thick for your door, use a scissors or cutting machine to cut down some part of tunnel along the line A or B. The cutting scale is about 2-4CM.

7. Mount to the door

Mount the cat door with double-side tape to the door. 8 screws have been provided for your use, tighten them with a screwdriver on both sides.

8 screws for 4 holes on both sides, screw them all in 2 sides as illustration shown above, please. These 8 screws are designed to work together, they are not short.

8. Done

Place screw caps over the screw holes, press them on. The installation is completely done.

I installed another one because this one was so fantastic. I have a sun porch that is off of a bedroom. It has a patio door, so I purchased one that fits a patio door. They come in the sun porch and then into the bedroom (using the one I put in the window) They love it! and now the come and go as they please. Use potty outside! It has to swing both ways to allow coming and going - maybe you could temporarily remove the door until they get used to the little opening?

If the cat flap door is too thick for the door you want to be fixed to, use a scissors, saw or cutting machine to cut along the line A or B as shown. The cutting scale is around 3 to 6 mm. For small cat flap door, the cutting scale is around 1 to 3 mm.

Function Instruction of the Switches:

1. Turn Red and Green switches to both sides, pet is prevented from entering or exiting house.
2. Turn Red and Green swithes to right side, pet is allowed to enter house, but prevent from exiting house.

Answer:	I would imagine so,, it is adjustable as long as your doors are at least as thick as the minimum for the pet door depth.

Answer:	It will absolutely not. The distance between these two frames is 2.2", there isn't a wall in your house that has only 1.2" between the two 0.5" pieces of sheetrock. There is a version here on amazon that has it with the wall liner, which will expand the interior tunnel to a proper distance. Get that one, or buy the "wall liner" separately.

Drill 4 corners for holes

Drill 4 corners for thorough holes first with an electric drill.

Cut out a tunnel hole

Cut out the tunnel hole with an electric saw starting at holes drilled.

Put the cat door into the door

After the tunnel hole is cut out, it's better to wrap around it with a layer of wood skin. And if your hole be cut a little big, it's quite necessary.

Install to the door

Install the cat door with double-side tape to the door. 8 screws have been provided for your use, tighten them with a screwdriver on both sides.

Answer:	Thank you for your question! This particular kit includes 20 Phillips head M4 x 40 mm wood screws.

Answer:	It does not come with a collar but does come with a round "key" that u attach to your dog's collar. Door can be set to not open without this device & nothing else can go in or out.
Question:	Does this kit come with long screws? as the screws that come with the small door are rather short
Answer:	The wall kit does not come with screws and it is not molded with the screw receivers like the backing of the door mount. So longer screws won't help. You have to cut the hole smaller than the template on both side so you can mount both pieces to the wall seperately. You also have to seal the pieces where they join otherwise rain can penitrate your wall. My wall was 8" thick and the wall kit just bearly filled the gap. If I was to do this again, I would use both sides of the door kit, fabricate my own extention from alinium flashing, and buy long screws to connect it together.
