Answer:	The bottom is only about 2 1/2 inches high, so it should fit under your couch just fine. Also, my son uses his 17" Dell on this cart along with mouse and usually a wallet, drink, and snacks. LOL!! It's VERY sturdy and rolls smoothly... no jerky movements and it has a "lip" on the edge of the tilting part so you can adjust it and the computer won't fall off. It's REALLY nice! The only thing I think they should adjust is the height... it adjusts, but doesn't go as low as I would have made it. It works fine for my son, though. I like it so much, I'm planning on getting one for myself... unless Santa brings me one this year!! LOL!!

Answer:	No, it is made of the same material that a regular dry erase board has.

Answer:	This does have a cord, but I'm not sure how long is it, as I have it connected to a surge protector on the floor. I would note that the cord connects to the controller, which is under the desk, so it moves up and down when you raise/lower the desk. The cord is long enough where it reaches the floor while at the highest/tallest setting (so it's at least 54" long from the controller). This is a three prong head. Unless you have an outlet that is very close to the desk (where the desk controller is located), you may want to consider an extension or surge protector that's a few feet long. Do not assume if you have a desk 54" from the outlet, you can raise/lower the desk without pulling the cord against the outlet, better to have extra length just in case.

Answer:	I see that your question is from 2013 and it's now 2019, but for anyone else asking, one of the user-contributed videos demonstrates with a ruler that this section of the wheels + bottom rails is 3.5". Personally, that leaves me about 1/4". I'm about to order it... fingers crossed!
Question:	Will this table be able to move in close while sitting in a rocker recliner? How wide is it between the bottom legs
Answer:	This table is 16 inches between the bottom legs. It fits close in my overstuffed chair. The opening of my chair is 22 inches. You either have to put your legs over the back of the roller base or on the outside of the legs. Neither which is a big deal. I use this table every day all day long. For my computer and to eat on. My husband has the same table. We love it. Hope this helps.

Question:	Is it possible to use without the wheels
Answer:	Yes, I bought this and found it was too tall with the wheels to fit under my couch. The wheels just screw into the bottom and without them it's flat. However, the screws hold in the plastic caps on the base so I ended up wrapping some electrical tape around the part of the caps that fit inside the metal base to make them fit more snugly and keep them in place otherwise they would just fall out. I also added stick on felt pads to the bottom of the metal base on each of the four corners since I am using it on a wood flood. It is working great now and easily slides under my couch.
