Answer:	No, you have to blow up the top of the pool (we have an electric pump, so that made the job easy), but once the top of the pool is blown up all you have to do is fill it with water, we are all having a blast, it's an easy and awesome investment.

Answer:	The filters for these are pretty cheap but each pool typically could have a different pump based on the size of the pool. Each type of pump usually has a different type of filter. I must say this pool was some of the best money I ever spent. Cheap and if it breaks...big deal, get another. Ours held up almost two seasons.

Answer:	I did the same thing. If you had ordered the pool with the pump it probably would have come with the 530 gph filter pump. I found that it wasn't quite strong enough and replaced it with the 1,000 gph filter pump. They both take the Type A tall filters. I hope this helps!

Question:	Can you wash the pump filter? and How often do you need to change the filter out and put int new one
Answer:	Yes, you can wash the filter. I usually use the flat stream on my hose setting. I do this once a week so I get 3 to 4 weeks out of a filter.
Question:	How level should the place be ? I want to put it on backyard its level for the most part but has gradual highs and lows , may be 8" difference
Answer:	It has to be level, but it won't hurt if you have a slight slope away from the house. I leveled an area that has a 1/4-1/2 inch slope pointing away from the house. In the event something happens and 1,718 gallons of water come pouring out, it's best that water goes away from the house.
Question:	Does it use chemicals
Answer:	Any pool will need to use some form of chemical to keep the water free of things living in it. This pool comes with a simple non-chemical filter.
Question:	how many adults fit comfortably in this pool
Answer:	We have about 50 adult tilapia fish (10 inches, two to three pounds) in this pool at the moment. It will hold about 160 or so eventually. Tongue in cheek answer. I tried but just couldn't resist.

Answer:	you use both the pump that comes with the pool and a saltwater pump that you have to purchase or acquire separately. the water goes through the pool pump first and then into the saltwater pump then back into the pool. The pool pump has to be on when the saltwater system is on. The saltwater system has a timer on it. You set the timer to run so many hours depending on the size of your pool. A 15' by 42" pool, the saltwater should be set for 3hours, usually after the sun sets so the chlorine will stay in the water longer. The saltwater pump will come on everyday at the same time. It only needs reset if for some reason it gets shut off.When the saltwater pump is not making chlorine the water simply flows through it and into the pool. My saltwater pump lasted about 9 years and it left the water crystal clear. Had to put 100 pounds of pool salt in at beginning of each season. Make sure the pool pump has been running about 1 day before setting the timer on saltwater pump. I always ran the pool pump 24/7. No problem with pool pump either. Just change filters about every few weeks.

Answer:	We had a 16' round intex pool for 7 years. It gets to 110 degrees in the summer and 23 degrees in the winter. We never took it down in winter. Always keep water in it. We just cover the pump to protect it from the rain and freeze with old blankets and tarp. The only reason we are replacing is we want a bigger one, just ordered the 16 x 32, and we did not cover much in summer so over the years the top edge looks like it is deteriorating. When we took it down and cut it up to dispose of it, we found the top lip looked bad but was still very strong so probably could last a few more years. I have had pools before and it seems like if I did take down for the winter, when I put back up in spring, there were leaks. So I think they last much better if you leave it up and full, just cover and protect the pump for the winter.

Answer:	Ive had my handme down pool set up near 5 yrs, making it 6 . I leave it filled below returns all winter. I did cut in full size skimmers and returns bought on Amazon and 16 inch sand filter system. Freaking perfect. Its now rusting on the upper legs, so ill replace with 16x32 in spri g. Yes, you can cut in full size skimmers and a larger return. I plumbed it myself in hard pipe rather than garbage flex. Just put in unions so i can winterize it.

Answer:	I don't live in Alaska but I live in a cold climate and I would definitely take it down for the winter. Personally I think this thing is a piece of junk. We put it up and it wouldn't stay inflated for even two days. All the water came out of it so we returned it and got our money back.

Answer:	This is our 3rd season in N E Ohio with is particular pool. We have taken it down and carefully stored it each winter. When we set it up each season, we are careful to insure the sand base is level. This year (our 3rd) the inflatable ring has a slow leak, which requires refilling daily. Also, it has stretched from round to somewhat of an oval this year. And I am now thinking their is a slow leak from underside as there is a puddle of water outside base in one spot. We run the included filter/pump 24/7 and it has always kept it clean, if I stay mindful checking chlorine and PH. We originally paid $88, Sept 2017. Current price is now $230. Don't know if it'll last a 4th season next year.

Question:	How much land space does this take up? More than
Answer:	When full of water, it creates an 8 foot circle at the base. It is very compact and true to size.
Question:	Can I have this in direct sunlight? My backyard has no shaded area
Answer:	NO. I had mine in direct sun and the top part that holds air cracked and dried up and only lasted a year.
Question:	What filter does the 8' model need its 530 gallon per hour one
Answer:	Yes at least the 530 gpm filter pump works just fine
Question:	Could a cat put a hole in the side
Answer:	It is fairly thick so I don't think a cat can put a hole in it. My German Shepherd jumps in and out with no problem and his is over a 100 pounds.
