Question:	If i want to use this in my attic, what is the source of energy? what type of batteries do i have to use? is the hook up complicated
Answer:	This particular brand and model (Under Hood) requires AA alkaline batteries quantity of 3 per unit. You can also get this brand that uses quantity 2 "C" batteries, and it will last up to 60 days. This latter one is for indoor use so would be a better option than the Under Hood unit. Finally you can buy other "under hood" brands that have wires that connect to a 12V automobile battery. But you could connect this to a portable rechargeable 12V battery source. The problem is that because these under hood units will be in your attic where there is no motion or vibration, they will run 24/7. Manufacturer for this Glaobule unit says the AA battery operated unit will last 4 weeks then you will have to replace the batteries. When in a car the vibration shuts the unit off, then back on when the car engine is off and parked, so it doesn't run all the time. This means, theoretically, in an attic it would drain sooner than 4 weeks. My recommendation if you have a power source in your attic like a light or electrical outlet, would be to use an indoor ultrasonic repellent device vs one that you use in a vehicle. If you don't have an outlet but only have a light source you can install a "lamp holder with an electrical outlet" (sold at hardware stores or on Amazon for about $5-$7). Question:	If the rats are stil alive, they can still produce bab rats. If we want to eliminate them, how is this product effective
Answer:	I have not actually ever had a rat in my house. Mice and squirrels, and I believe to a great extent even insects, seem to be repelled by the smell of the mint. Since they don't like it, they leave. My aim has never been to kills anything, but to deter them from living in my space and encourage them to seek living quarters outdoors where they belong. It really does work, but if you are infested, it takes time I believe. You may have to resort to trapping or something to get a whole nest out. This product is more of a discourager and repellent, it does not harm or kill them.
Question:	How long is it effective before you need to respray
Answer:	I'm not sure. I spray a little every time I put a bag with any food leftovers in it in the can. I originally said I thought the bottle was expensive. However, I'm finding it's lasting pretty well. It sprays a fine mist, so you don't use a whole lot of product each time you spray. The main thing for me is that my garbage is still intact. I haven't seen hide nor hair of a squirrel anywhere near my garbage since I started using it. I've noticed there seems to be a lot fewer flies and ants too. So far, I love this product!
