| Answer: | Use a glass bowl at least 5" high and put peanut oil in it to about 3" high.Build a ramp (a board or a small piece of wood) that the mouse can climb up the ramp to the top of the bowl. I put a little bit of peanut butter on the side of the bowl which gets the mouse to balance on the side and usually falls into the bowl of peanut oil. Once they slide into the peanut oil and are covered with it there is no traction for the mouse to get out. They usually die from drowning or exhaust themselves trying to get out.Use some old tongs to disguard the mouse in a plastic baggie. |
