Answer:	I just put mine up, but since no birds have flown into the windows. These are neat and look great hanging outside the window, for the price it is worth a try for you. Answer:	Not at all for my 2 corgis and I dont think it'll effect cats either. It's a totally different frequency, and I believe that is stated in the description too. I dont think you'll have any issues!!!

Answer:	I think it will work bc the sound travels well. It worked good the first year, like perfect, but they are coming back so I'm not sure if the sound isn't working anymore

Answer:	I do not know about bats and flying squirrels. It is very effective on rodents, such as mice and rats. The unit seems to irritate them, to the point that they, the rodents, do not want to be near the units sound dispersal area.

Answer:	Better? The only way this could be a worse product is if it actually attracted mice. That said, it might, in fact attract mice. No whether the M793 attracts more mice than the M792, I couldn't tell you. All I can tell you is that this doesn't work.....at all. I'm surprised that a company like Victor with a reputation of making simple things that work would put their name on this gimmicky, worthless thing. Get yourself some real mouse traps...Victor mouse traps, or Google "5-gallon bucket mouse trap" and kill mice. Don't waste your money on this.

Question:	The bird is sitting over my storm door, and crapping all over the door, the lock, and handle. Does it have to be waving around or can I tape flat
Answer:	Yes. The product is ideal for protecting this kind of fruit bearing tree. You don't need vast amounts, about 25ft per tree should be enough. Too much tape on a tree can often cause the opposite effect, bird's can sometimes actually identify that a repellent has been applied and ignore it. For a large fruit bearing tree I would recommend about 7-10 strips cut to approx 2-3ft in length. However, as Christina replied as well, trial and error is often required as different types of birds are more resilient to human repellents. It depends on many factors, light, breeze, breed, crop size and more. It's difficult to give a more accurate answer without more detail. Question:	Has anyone used this to scare Herons away from a Koi pond
Answer:	While every bird is different, the foil almost certainly has to be flapping around. It isn't that birds hate foil or anything like that (after all, magpies like shiny things!); it's that when it flaps around it makes a noise which sounds like an animal walking around, and it catches flashes of light that will show up in peripheral vision. If you as a person thought there was a potential predator around and were working around these things while they were flapping about, it would likely make you jumpy, even though you KNEW they were there, much as a loose branch that taps on your bedroom window when it's windy might make it difficult to sleep because it sounds like someone trying to get in. The good news is that you don't need to get it right next to the place you want the birds to stay away from; if there's anywhere within 10 feet or so where you could let one end fly free it has a good chance of helping.

Answer:	attach it to small wooden stakes surrounding the area you want to keep birds away from. twist between stakes so it flutters in the wind. the reflection keeps the birds away. I used it to keep ducks off my patio. I have also hung it on my apricot tree when it had fruit.

Answer:	Herons are birds like anyother, so these owls should be scaring them

• Are they "tapes"? Why not make them sticky?- Yes, we generally call them "tapes" as most of consumers and sellers do but please be aware this product isn't adhesive. Some people advised to call them ribbon because the product is not adhesive. We're more than happy to see our customers giving the product different names. In our opinion, the bird repellent tapes should not be sticked to the wall or any objects because they would reflect sunlight to only single direction in this way.

Question:	The picture shows silver tape with holographic colors reflected. But the description says silver which is it
Answer:	The base width of the NARROW plastic spikes is 3/4 of an inch, so if they fit on that fence slat then you can attach the spikes. The base width of the REGULAR plastic spikes is 1 3/4 inches so this size would likely not fit on that fence slat.
Question:	What is the thickness of this tape in mm
Answer:	They have spikes, so I doubt the squirrel could sit down. But, squirrels can go just about anywhere, so climbing around might not be stopped.
Question:	Is it durable
Answer:	Hello, these spikes will keep birds from landing and nesting only on the area they are directly covering. Please see the product Irri-Tape by Bird-X for a visual and sound deterrent which may better suit your needs.

Answer:	The tape has silver reflective shapes on a silver background. Color is generated by reflections.
Question:	Is there a color that works better than the other
Answer:	25.4 mm in an inch.
Question:	Does it have a sticky side
Answer:	That depends. I taped mine to a piece of nylon fishing line and strung it across. It lasted a few months. For the price it kept the birds away from my tomatoes. It's very light so it reflects and makes a sound. I would not say it's durable but there is so much I just cut a new piece when one would break or wear out!! Hope that helps.
Question:	Will this work to keep small birds from hanging on power lines if I attach it to my fence about ~15ft below? (they are pooping on everything
Answer:	It is a thin metallic looking tape so it is pretty flimsy, but it is not see through. It being flimsy makes it blow with the wind and the reflection and noise keep the birds away pretty well. I put this all over chairs and around my deck and this was the only thing that has worked to keep the birds away. The tape does break off from time to time and I pick up pieces in the yard, but overall I am happy with the scare tape.

Answer:	It frightened away all birds from my young orange tree except for woodpeckers. They are fearless little buggers and they managed to peck quite a few oranges. If you have a lot of fruit to protect, I would suggest a net. Otherwise the tape works great but you have to hang a lot of it,

Answer:	We use red and silver, works well for us, when we order again we may change just not to let them get use to one or the other.
Question:	I have a long (300 feet) wooden fence. The top is flat, and squirrels use it as a "runway" (which drives my dog crazy). How can I stop them
Answer:	No it is not sticky it is like a plastic ribbon you take it off the roll like crape paper for party decorations so it twists. When it is hung above your garden the wind makes it move the birds don't like the motion, it can be disorienting. It is not strong so a hard winds for a long time can break it up. I just rehang it.
