Answer:	I don’t think so. It’s oil based so it has to be heated to make a fog. The digger machines use a propane cylinder to ignite a coil and heat the product and creates the fog.

Answer:	My experience has been that there isn't any adverse effects on birds. I have used it close to several bird feeders, and they haven't been affected. I don't know about dogs. The oil for the fogger suggest that you don't spay on or stay in the fog until it clears. I have sprayed my garage, and all around my house and property without any problems. To be safe you should keep dogs or children away from the treated area for a few minutes after which it's fine.

Make sure propane valve is completely off by turning the knob towards the back of the fogger. Then insert propane cylinder and hand tighten.

Answer:	Suggest against spreading diatomaceous earth in the air. Can do damage if people breathe it in (similar to asbestos dust). Diatomacious earth is great for cracks, light fixtures, etc. where it can be in an undisturbed state, but best not to spread its particles in the air.

Answer:	The idea behind atomizers is you are using less water to apply your insecticides nutrients or pesticides. Water causes fungus and plants don't like water on the leaves or stems.

Answer:	This will do the job in a heartbeat. You are not aiming right at the plants anyway. You can stand in the doorway and probably do the entire greenhouse in about 1-2 mins. You are going to be aiming above the plants.

Answer:	This unit runs a 30 to 1. That is 30 to 1 mix. That more oil than most . Read the instructions. You have to mix 30 to 1. I haven't found and have never seen a 30 to 1 premixed. It burns very clean. I always use stabilizer after I mix the oil. This is a tough unit. It burns that oily mix very clean.

Answer:	Can't say really. I bombed the place for fleas and it was pretty effective. The fleas came back at one point, but it is really hard to keep them out anyways. But it was many months. Can't say that is because it lasted for that long though.
Question:	Do you have to turn off your pilot lights before use
Answer:	It says right on the front of the box "No need to turn off pilot lights" so you should be fine to leave it on. Maybe just don't place the can right next to the stove.

Answer:	No, you do not have to cover anything. Just put some newspaper down on the floor where the aerosol can goes. I have never had anissue with any residue.
Question:	is hot stuff fogger safe around infants and pets
Answer:	Just read the user manual because I had the same question. It says: "Do not allow adults, children or pets to enter the treated area until vapors, mists and aerosols have dispersed and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated." So, it looks like it is safe as long as it has "dispersed" and the area is "thoroughly ventilated".

Answer:	I don't know. Foggers have specific mixtures. This is a hot fogger not a cold fogger. if there is anything flammable in the mixture you put in it you could create a dangerous fire. You have to check the active and inactive ingredients. Sorry I can't help you but I wouldn't do it.

Step 1: Lock Trigger

Lock the trigger by sliding the yellow button to the right. This will prevent accidental pumping.

Note: If you can engage the trigger, it is not locked.

Step 2: Fill Reservoir

Place fogger on a level surface. Remove the large yellow reservoir and fill only with Black Flag, Repel, or Cutter branded Fogging Insecticide. When full, securely tighten the reservoir to the fogger.

Note: Ensure fogger pump is free from debris before placing in insecticide.

Step 3: Plug in

Using a proper gauge extension cord, plug the fogger into a convenient outlet.

Note: Use only 3 wire, 10, 12 or 14 gauge extension cords suitable for outdoor usage. Never defeat grounding feature.

Step 4: Preheat

With fogger on a level, non-flammable surface, it is very important to Preheat the fogger for at least 2 minutes. If this is not done, the insecticide may not provide the desired results.

Squeeze the trigger once every 3-4 seconds for the optimal dry, white fog

Keep the breeze at your back and stand 5 feet away from where you are treating. Squeeze the trigger slowly and steadily every 3 to 4 seconds. Each pump will release a cloud of fog. Let it drift into the desired location amongst deep foliage, landscaped areas, or deeply wooded areas where mosquitoes like to hide.

Note: The effectiveness of the insecticide is dependent on the temperature of the fogger - making it very important that you preheat the fogger for 2 minutes. When fogging, every time you are squeezing the trigger, the fogger pump is forcing the insecticide through the heat-conducting coil. The heat instantly vaporizes the insecticide producing the fog. If the fog is thin and yellowish, the insecticide is too hot which means you need to increase the pumping rate to cool down the insecticide. If the fog is dripping from the nozzle, the insecticide has not had a chance to reach the optimal temperature; therefore, you will need to decrease the pumping rate.
