Installation Guide

Warming tips:

• Please clean the surface before stick on the strip and make sure that the paste is successful by one time, otherwise, the stickiness will become weak after repeated use, and you need to add back glue again
• Please don't stick the lights to the metal surface that conductive, it may cause a short-circuit on the strip lights
• Don't let them on the spool when you testing them for more than 2 minutes, they need to dissipating heat
• The ventilation must be ensured, these lights need an excessive amount of airflow for cooling

Connection tips

Please notice to connect the 4pin connectors of the controller box arrow to the positive of lights; If not, it will don't work.

Test the lights before installation

Please confirm your connection is correct, below is some steps need to notice:

• Connect the 4pin connectors of the controller box arrow to the positive of lights.
• Make sure the lights are connected, and the power light up green bulb.
• Pull out the transparent chip from the button of the IR remote.
• Use the IR remote turn on the lights (IR remote aim at the IR receiver).

DIY function

About DIY function, Please follow the steps below：

Step 1: Turn on the lights. Press one of the RGB buttons. Step 2: Press the DIY1 button (the lights will change to white color for the first time). Step 3: If you need deeper red color, press and hold the red up button(at least 5 seconds), the longer you hold, the deeper red color you have. You can also press green and blue down, the changing will be more clearly. Step 4: Keep the color you just set by pressing the DIY1 button again. Step 5: Repeat the steps above to set the rest of five DIYs.

Answer:	Even though this item says it is for 4" dryer ducts, the brush head that came with my kit is only 3 1/8 inches in diameter. It doesn't reach all sides of the duct. Not happy at all. Even on straight duct, it only works partially.

Answer:	It will work, however, surge protectors do not change the Voltage. Please check the voltage standard for the travel destination and use a Voltage converter with the adapter if needed. (example, Europe uses mainly 230 Volts). Many electrical devices such as AC/DC chargers for Laptops, cameras etc. allow a multi range Voltage (110-240 Volts) and eliminate the need of a Voltage converter. Sometimes electrical device have a switch for either 120 or 230 Volts (remember to set back!). Please check the specifications on your equipment. Powering a 120 Volt device with 230 Volts can destroy the equipment and cause fire.

Answer:	Yes, I have it running an Alpine PDX 5 but running 3 out of the 5 channels. I wouldn’t go over the 40 amp max. The fan on mine is already going out after only approximately 40 hours of use. Buyers beware not the best quality power supply. The fan makes tons of noise until it warms up then it quiets down. Good luck!

Answer:	For 150' at 1.5w/ft = 225 watts @ 12 volts (DC). I would break it into three 50' sections and use three 75-90 watt (DC) rated 12 volt power supplies. OR two 75' sections and use two 150 watt (DC) rated 12 volt power supplies. One power supply supply per section, and tie the power supplies together with a(n) 120v (AC) extension cord. Answer:	It's actually made to be plugged into a grounded wall socket, replacing the 2 3-pronged outlets with its 6 available grounded outlets. It can even replace the outlet cover and be screwed into place. I've got a bunch of these and love them.
Question:	why can not use on horizontal plugs
Answer:	against the wall, mine is about 4 inches wide, 4 3/4 inches tall, and about 1 3/4 inches deep
