And you have to realize each communication takes 2 days since you are in different time zone. They will also ignore your email at times. So good luck. How I know this? Answer:	I bought 2. Mine has lasted since the Summer of 2015. One of them had a single bulb working last Summer (2018) but the flies were still just as attracted to it. It's Winter now but I just checked them and all but 1 bulb worked. The bug catcher trays got lost so I use canned pressurized air to blow out the debris (outside, of course) I use them in my garage and shed in the Summer and they work excellently!

Answer:	I would screen your chimney. But yes it will kill them the unit would have to be close to the opening. Note this makes a loud pop when a bug gets in the gris. NOTE: Bugs fly in front of the grid but does not get in it. I took a piece of furnace duct metal, cut a square init with a 1" flange sticking out the back , mounted a small bathroom exhaust fan to it. I then mounted the fan and metal plate to the back of the unit. the fan now sucks the bugs into the grid. Makes a 300 to 400 % improvement in bug kills. ( I should get a sizable royalty from the manufacturer for tilling them how to improve it.)

Question:	Is this a 40 w bug zapper
Answer:	The two UV lights which attract the bugs are T8 type 10W each, they are bright enough to shine the whole living room. The actual thing that zaps the bugs once they arrive to the device is a grid or mesh of wires with 2800 Volts, that is very powerful to zap any bug. The system is very good, and I do recommend it. Advice: when you unplug it to replace he UV tube, do not touch the inside grid, it takes time for the high voltage to discharge completely. Wait at least 2 hours as they say in the manual.

Answer:	Until it rains. It would function properly but it's not suited for the elements. I wouldn't, and it specifically says "Indoor..."
Question:	How is the quality of the product? Is it workable for the mosquitoes
Answer:	Yes it works great with mosquitos. Please remember, this is an indoor unit, so putting it outside as major bug zapper isn't what it is designed for. We tried one night and while it worked and killed lots of different bugs (especially mosquitos) it gets a bit overwhelmed and totally filthy with lots of outdoor bugs.

Answer:	It can be used anywhere indoors. The arc is quite loud and could startle or wake a baby if that is your concern. Make sure children or pets cannot reach it. It is quite effective and keeps my house fly and mosquito free. Unless you keep the baby room door shut just placing it near the room should work as well.
