Answer:	I don't think it would stand up to it. The case is sort of the weak part of this item, with the latches needing to be bent into position to close, and the gauge of the aluminum is very low. I went and used my fingernail and I can dent the ribbing of the case.

Answer:	These chips and the whole case are NOT odorless. They smell horrible. I just bought this product and will very likely be returning it. Smells. Horrible. Strong. Smell. Smell. Smellllllly. :(
