Question:	So some the auger is riveted on and one says it is plastic and comes off. Which is it? I want it to come off so don't have to turn whole umbrella
Answer:	You don't have to turn the whole umbrella. The umbrella's pole comes apart. The auger is attached to the bottom half of the pole, and there is a small metal rod that fits thru two holes toward the top of the pole that you use as a handle. You "screw" this part of the pole into the sand and then attach the umbrella with the upper half of the pole. We used ours last summer -- it's really very convenient and sturdy.

Answer:	200 denier polyester top and aluminum pole.

Answer:	As in the description, there are 16 fiberglass ribs. The fabric is stronger than most umbrellas I have seen and it is 8' which is a great size. We love it and highly recommend
Question:	Is the height adjustable? What are the different possible heights
Answer:	To the best of my knowledge, no. Virtually all these umbrellas have one height but can be tilted (as shown) to various angles to compensate for the breeze/wind. We have always used umbrellas with more than 8 struts...they are sturdier & last longer. This one is very similar to our previous ones & they all worked well. Note: you always need a deep anchor to secure them in the sand. The short ones don't work for long.

Question:	Can this umbrella be used at kids baseball and football events where it's concrete with no tie down availability? Can it be handheld
Answer:	I have seen many of these this year at kids' baseball games on surfaces that are not conducive to driving tent stakes. I'm not sure how they are holding them down, but they are being used on gravel surfaces and at least a few on concrete.
Question:	Do you still need to use an umbrella/beach anchor that you buy separately with this
Answer:	I have one of those screw in anchors. Works great for all day beach stays. The umbrella starts straight up and there's no worries about it moving. I then simply tilt the umbrella to block the sun as it moves. The anchor keeps the umbrella nice and sturdy and especially with wind. I always worry I'll be out in the water when the wind blows and with my luck it would impale someone. :0/ I tie off the guy lines to 2.5lb weights because I'm that anal...but the tie downs and the anchor are sufficient. I'm buying a second one for this summer to tie together and create a 'tent' of sorts....

Answer:	It doesn't turn into a hotbox at all, in fact, it has zip down "screened in windows" that allow for a nice cross breeze.

Answer:	It fit inside the trunk of my 2009 Honda Civic Sedan. I have to angle one side in but once in, it fits side to side just fine.

Answer:	55” is correct. When fully extended it can get to 7’, but breaks down and is stored/transported in the 55” long carry bag. PS we love ours, and take it with us in our checked in airline luggage.

Answer:	No, it cannot be removed but why would you want to do that? The screw base holds far better than any sand grabber we had. It holds up to the strongest winds on Cape Cod. This is the best and strongest umbrella we ever had. I bought two.

Answer:	No this product is a plastic thatch. It does not come off in extreme heat, wind or rain. At least from my experience here in Central Florida. I would however consider the largest EasyGo Thatch Patio Tiki Umbrella.

Answer:	I'm not certain which size would be the most pleasing. If your width is 16 feet 1 inch (am I understanding the dimension) and the depth is 43 feet 9 inches, then I would purchase the 8 foot size. I can assure you the umbrella is of good quality and adds a calming effect to MY patio...I certainly recommend it.
