Answer:	That is correct. I placed bracing boards the same thickness as my baseboard behind the beam that secures the frame to the wall at the top of the cabinet to compensate, which worked perfectly. The instructions say to cut your baseboard out, but I rent, so that wasn't an option.

Answer:	It takes quite a but of leverage to initially pull it down and the handle is high. We have a five year old who is tall for his age and he would not be able to pull it down on his own. It is designed to ease down so it moves slowly in the beginning. However, once it is 1/4 way open, it comes down quickly and it is heavy. We've not had any problems with it.

Answer:	Wish I could say, but I haven't tried the Thersage and don't know anyone who has. The Thermotex works very well for me as I am on my second one after using the first one for up to a couple of hours every day for over 4 years, well made and effective. Answer:	It is good of you to ask. This is a Calgary, Alberta, Canada product. There a few dealers in the US, lots more in Canada. The electrical components are made in Canada, Thermotex having a Calgary Alta address. The cover is made in China. The "face" of the cover is 100% nylon, sort of like a velveteen. The backing is 50% nylon and 50% cotton. This is all according to the tag on my Thermotex Platinum. It comes with two velcro straps; a small one which I use for knees, etc. and a larger one for backs, hips, and so on. This is a very sturdy pad, and I very much like what it does for me.

Answer:	It is flexible, but not like a blanket. It is flexible at the spaces between where the stones are individually sewn into their own separated compartments and stiff where the stones are. For example, it is flexible enough to lay over a pillow roll and put under my neck to bring infared heat to the the area. I LOVE this product. I bought the 38' x 21" pad so it is long enough to go from my neck to my lumbar spine (but I'm 5'2").
