Answer:	No this is not very waterproof, I store my bicycles in one and then put a motorcycle cover on them. I have used scotch guard on it but it hasn't rained since doing that so I don't know if that will help. I also cut a narrow strip from a tarp and fasten that over the tent, under the cross pieces.

Answer:	Technically yes you would fit however since the sides of the tent slopes your head and feet will be touching the tent walls. If you're somewhere that it will be dewy in the morning I do not think you will be comfortable. If you're the only one in the tent you might be able to sleep diagonally to touch the edges a little less but I would not count on it.
Question:	Is it secure in sand? They call it a beach tent but the picture shows it in grass and no one is commenting on how secure it is on the beach
Answer:	I have used it at the beach many times! all you have to do is to throw a bag/purse or any other weights( boots, water bottles, towels)inside the corners of the tent, as it has a sturdy floor. It does come with a set of stakes, but I never tried to use them.
