Question:	Can this be used on a Champion dual generator
Answer:	I have the 14 amp and was looking at this 15 amp to replace it. Yes it is obnoxiously irritate-the-neighbors (and even myself) loud. But after moving to Florida with mostly sand for a garden, I've come to consider yard waste a valuable resource. So despite being obnoxiously loud, I use it. :)
Question:	Is it quiet
Answer:	I have yet to have it jam up. That being said, the opening to feed in material is rather small. As long as you are feeding in material no larger than the opening, you should have no problems. I have also found it works better on small branches than on leaves. It takes some effort to not only feed leave in, but to get them through the cutter. I put a stone in the hopper that I did not see in some leaves and had to take it apart and flip the blades to the other side. Blades are reversible (2 cutting surfaces) and it is really easy to open it up. Keep the stones out and it will chip away for a long time. The chips are rather small in my opinion. They are similar to chainsaw chips.
Question:	How do you hook this up to A generator? I can't get it to work. why don't it come with direction

Answer:	I think this is very close, I cut the opening to install mine. I was thinking 1.5x 1

Answer:	The hour meter only works with direct current. If the generator has a D.C. output, up to 72 volts, then the meter should work. Many generators have an output capable of charging a12-volt automotive battery, and this could be used to power the meter if the Champion generator has such an arrangement.
Question:	Does this work well with pine needles and pine cones, or would it be better to get a leaf mulcher/shredder
Answer:	You can hear it if you are very close. But as hour meters go I would say it is quiet.
Question:	Could you run dried horse poop this to make a nice bedding fertilizer
Answer:	This timer requires a DC voltage source. My generator has a DC out to charge the 12V battery. I coupled the timer into that power source.

Answer:	It is good at chopping up sticks. It will be difficult to feed the chips into it. It may work but it will be more work than it is worth.

Answer:	I have never used it on bamboo, but it does very well on branches of sheflera and allspice up to a little more than two inches in diameter. Since bamboo is hollow it should do well. I really like my machine , use it weekly, and will buy another one if I need to.

Answer:	I have had two of these. The first lasted 2 days and it was run for 4 hours each day then it stopped. Amazon replaced the chipper with no trouble. The second chipper is WONDERFUL. I only chip up to 1" trees/branches and this thing is a monster. I have used this for at least 10 days in a row for 4 hours a day. I just sharpened the blades and it is still cutting great.

The motor (On my unit) is from LCT and according to their website http://lctusa.com/ They are a USA company, but it does look like manufacturing is in China.

Answer:	Yes. We trimmed our Navajo Globe Willow trees with it. When there are lots of thin stuff it can get clogged, but easily cleared with larger branches. Wonderful tool!

Answer:	It will chip leaves and needles. I use it more for leaves and pine needles since I live in the Pinelands of New Jersey.

Answer:	This could not be used to shred foam.
Question:	How is this different from the cj602e? better cutting blades
Answer:	As long as it fits down the chute, it will chip most things. I've found smaller twigs and leaves pass without being chipped or shredded very well. Depending on the size and rigidity of the succulent plant matter, your success will vary. The best luck I've had is with green wood that is between a quarter inch and 1.5 inches. Smaller than that and it seems to be able to pass through the blade slit. Larger than that and it can jam or bog the motor. The dryer woods also tend to be 'dryer/harder' on the blades and motor. I don't imagine succulents will stress the machine, but depending on the thickness and size, you may struggle to get them to cut instead of just pass through the blade slit.
Question:	Both this model and the cj602e have 15a motors but this one can chip larger sticks? what are the differences between this and its cheaper predecessor
Answer:	It shredded some bamboo before it got jammed and I had to remove the blade cover and unjam the chipper. Took me a good 30 minutes to figure why it wouod turn on for 10 seconds before it shut down.

Answer:	They are bolted to the flywheel on the output shaft of the engine.

Question:	Are replacement blades available when the blade get dull
Answer:	You can put a bundle of sticks into hopper at the same time, for example, 4 pcs or 5 pcs twig each diameter is about 3/4”. It will be very efficient if we can chip a bundle of twigs instead of one by one.
Question:	Where is this unit made
Answer:	For softwood, 3" diameter; For hardwood, better less than 2". If Chipper is producing sawdust while chipping wood, it is clear that wood is too dried out. The compact chipper is designed primarily for chipping freshly cut wood. The FM6DD has been tested thoroughly chipping freshly cut hawthorn wood (slow-grown hardwood). We recommend that the wood is chipped no longer than three days after cutting. After this date, the wood will begin to dry out, meaning the chipper blades then struggle to dig into the wood. This produces a sawdust-like waste from the exit chute, and the chipper will struggle to self-feed.
