Answer:	Its a perfect fit for my club cadet 46" deck and believe the 42" has the same configuration as the 46". They have both the 42 and 46" at Home Depot so you could check them out before you order the bagger

Answer:	This double bagger fits most riding mowers produced after 2010. I have an 'older' Cub Cadet LXT1046. Before you order, call MTD customer service to see if you'll need a kit to make the bagger fit properly. The kit costs about $25 but they sent it for free plus no shipping. The bagger is super easy to install. When your bagger arrives, read all the information to find the directions as the pamphlet applies to more than one model. The box may include some extra parts for models other than yours. MTD customer service is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Answer:	Leaf pick up was one of my main reasons for getting a bagger. It works well, even at higher settings, but it's really a function of your blade condition. Some blades have a higher lift because of the shape... That's what sends everything up the chute. If you have heavy lead cover in the fall, the bags fill up quickly, but the dual bags keeps it manageable. Short version: works great but depends on quantity of leaves and blade condition.
