Question:	Can this item be shipped to my house
Answer:	I was able to split 20" diameter sugar maple rounds without a problem. It should be able to handle 24" diameter rounds. However, the operating manual indicates a maximum log diameter of 10". This is marked by an asterisk (*) in the operating manual, with the following statement: "Maximum Log Diameter is approximate. Actual maximum log diameter is dependent upon log shape, consistency, wood type and internal moisture." So, use your best judgment.

Answer:	Mine arrived in a week an a half. It said 2 months, then I got an Email that said...don't worry...be happy we are shipping it early. The price has gone up $40 since October .

Answer:	The Splitter has to bein the horizontal position to cover the entire machine with a cover but they are easy enough to lower before covering. Protecting your machine is well worth the effort to lower it to be covered. I have a 22 ton splitter and once folded down the cover fits very well.

Answer:	I just received my Quilo 14000btu unit and set it up. It's not quiet. When the fan is running, well, it sounds like a fan. That's okay. But when the compressor kicks in, it has a low frequency annoyingly grumbling noise like the old time refrigerators did when the compressors got worn. Would I prefer the noise over being stuffy-hot inside? Yes. Would I prefer the noise over being a little uncomfortably warm? No. For the record, I also just purchased an Emerson Quiet Kool 8000 BTU unit. It's a lower power compressor, and it's half as noisy. I wish I had bought the Emerson 14000BTU unit for the front room instead of the Quilo, but to tell the truth, I don't know how the noise of those two 14000BTU units compare. And they're too expensive to just buy them to test out. It's odd that the Db ratings are louder for the Emerson, but the actual experience is that it's quieter. We'll see how well they cool this summer.

Answer:	For rolling logs, it can handle over 2 ft in diameter. You can watch the Facebook video of Lucas Mill owner rolling a huge log! For lifting, it will handle as much as the lifter can. With logs that are too heavy, we hook it on and drag it.

Question:	I’m looking for something to lift larger logs off the ground for cutting, description says its a timber jack for smaller. Can it lift 24” log for cut
Answer:	John, For logs much larger then 12-14" we recommend using the LogOX as a full cant hook. After the tree has been de-limbed, mark out your desired log round lengths into the bark with your chainsaw along the entire length of the log (we use our chainsaw bar length for reference). Then make all of your initial cuts 3/4 of the way through the log. Once that is complete, utilize the LogOX as a cant hook to roll the entire log over and simply finish the back side of your cuts. Similar to using a timberjack, this method will help keep your chain from accidentally striking the ground and you'll find it to be a lot easier than trying to lift up a tree that size.
