Answer:	The Poulan chain saw is doing good now. At first, we had a problem keeping it running, eating up chains, for now, it is working fine.
Question:	Is this saw good for falling trees and cutting firewood
Answer:	Based on my experience, it works well for trees up to about 2 1/2 ft in diameter but you need to rotate the tree if it is bigger than about 18 inches. There are more powerful saws for professional use on big trees, but most homeowners will do fine with it. It really comes down to how often you need a chainsaw. I dropped an 18" tree and cut it to firewood length in one day.

Here are the directions for mixing the fuel and oil in the owner's manual: Mix 2.6 oz. of full synthetic 2-Cycle Oil with 1 gallon of gasoline for a 50:1 mixture. Shake well. Pour into fuel tank. Question:	What HP is this model
Answer:	The model number gives you some details. For example, the PR4016 specifies it's 40cc with a 16" chain bar. However, I wasn't able to find anything suggesting what the horsepower might be. That doesn't seem to be uncommon. Few manufacturers, except those making the very large, expensive, models, provide horsepower numbers. By the way, contrary to the other guy's (rudely out of place) comment, it's not "a piece of junk." Mine has worked just fine for two cutting seasons. Now buying another as backup, and to spread the work to reduce wear & tear on either one.

Answer:	Hi Al. The air filter must be cleaned regularly to remove dust and dirt. Not cleaning the air filter can cause starting issues, carburetor malfunctions, loss of engine power, excessive fuel consumption, and unnecessary wear and tear on engine parts. You’ll find step-by-step instructions in your model-specific user manual, but the air filter is really simple to clean. You just need to pull it out of the chainsaw and brush or shake the dust and debris off filter. You can clean it more thoroughly by washing it in water with a mild detergent. An air filter that has been in use for an extended time cannot be cleaned completely, so it should be replaced with a new filter at regular intervals. A damaged air filter must always be replaced.
