Answer:	The cables on my winch are not covered, has not been a issue, and we have some extensive rain. The winch is covered end to end with the front of the cover going to the top of the fair lead, and the back goes to the where the wires that come out of the winch.

Question:	would this cover be too big for a warn
Answer:	Not sure which vr8 you are referring to (amazon shows 2 vr8). I have it on my 26502 M8000 ~ fits perfectly.
Question:	Does it stay secured at interstate speeds? And if it blows off at 75, is that covered under the warranty
Answer:	I don't recommend this cover. It fades if it in sun. I'm guessing mine was almost white in 6 months.
