| Answer: | I am not sure that it would not burn a child's hand. That said, I don't think a casual brush against the front would cause a burn. The heater is a radiant heater. It is designed to radiate the heat out and heat objects and the space in front of it without getting extremely hot itself. Caution would always be prudent though. |

Valve and thermocouple Operation Instructions
1). Fix the valve on a plate or board of your grill or fire pit by the head screw and flange.
2). Connect your inlet and outlet hose on inlet and outlet side. (faston it tightly enough in case of gas leakage)
3). Faston the thermocouple nut M8 on the valve end tightly (Check if your valve end thread if 8mm before you buy)
4). Connect thermocouple and end thread well
5). Open gas by correct size knob and push your valve around 5-10s till the thermocouple head is heated enough.
6). Release your hand and it work properly If when you release hand, gas valve shut off again, Please check
a. If your thermocouple is always be heated on flame
b. If the thermocouple end is well connect with valve
c. If the inlet and outlet side well connect with hose you have

This Bond Smart Home Automation has lots of potential, but presently it is still in a very primitive stage (just bought one 4/2018) it can only learn the remote of few popular ceiling fan company like Hunter at this time (I have a Reiker fans, and it cannot learn the remote and customer service cannot help). I am still keeping the Bond because it control my Hunter fans very well from Alexa. I wouldn't consider this Bond for anything else but popular ceiling fans only. |

Hooking up the parts in this kit was simple. The contractor installed an on/off valve on the gas line which made it simple.
