Answer:	I have the app on three different Android devices. When one phone is connected to the sensor, other phones do not show the Bluetooth indicator to the left of the battery indicator and do not show the current temp. When I leave the first connection alone, the sensor gets disconnected eventually, and other phones can access the sonsor. It takes me about 20 seconds to access the current temperature and about 30 seconds further to load one day worth of data.

Answer:	Govee Team's answer is generally correct. That said, I've been using a Govee H5074 for two months this to monitor the temperature of a small refrigerator in my car (typically set to 34° F/1° C), and it has worked very well despite having to transmit through the metal refrigerator case and the steel car body. I routinely check it from 10-20 feet away; I haven't tried any further away than that. Now, maybe I'll have to swap batteries every six months. But this little device works so well (thanks in large part to Govee's well-designed iOS app) that I'll cheerfully pay that price if I have to. They do make a more robust weatherproof model, H5041, but it costs more than twice as much and uses a plug-in (120/240 VAC) Wi-Fi router. As an RVer, I try to avoid anything that can't run on 12 VDC. But the H5074 doesn't even need that--it's self-contained, and only needs a smartphone or tablet. It suits my needs perfectly.

Answer:	We have two sets, and yes, I'm afraid they do. I have one set upstairs and a sensor right outside my sliding door and that readout is registering fine. But one sensor is crossing over to one of the sensors downstairs. The other sensor is okay because it's in the room only a few feet away and the readout from it is fine. The downstairs unit has a sensor on our back porch and that readout is fine. But the other readout is registering from my sensor upstairs. So, yes it's confusing and we haven't figured out a way to keep them all separated....................

Answer:	Yes, you can mount it to wall with a small nail. There is a small opening in back to hang it and it has a hinge to open and sit it on a desk or counter.

Answer:	We use rechargeable batteries so we are not buying batteries (and contributing to waste) all that often. I find the outdoor unit battery life depends on the temps; if it is cold the battery life is a bit shorter, if warm the battery life is longer. Cannot accurately give a length of time for battery life outdoors as our rechargeable batteries have been used for over 2 years and are just not beginning to show wear and not holding their charge as long. Even rechargeable batteries need to be replaced eventually. Indoor battery life is excellent, several months to one year

Answer:	I bought mine June 2018 and have used it since. Today (12/31/2020), I went to check it and saw that the last update was 2 days ago because the battery died. So my battery lasted 2 1/2 years. Not too bad.

Answer:	Yes, the sensor can hold over 20 days of data. The data gets pushed to any paired phone via Bluetooth when it comes within range, even if the app remains in the background.

Answer:	The WiFi gateway works with the Bluetooth sensors. I originally purchased just the Bluetooth sensors but then wanted to access the measurements while away from home. I purchased the WiFi gateway and placed it near the Bluetooth sensors. Now I can see temperatures while at work or traveling. This system works perfectly. I found it easier to setup than other smart home devices. I love the data logging for temp and humidity.

Answer:	I have an Acurite remote temperature transmitter inside my freezer, which goes to -15 deg F and below, so I can monitor temperatures without opening the door. Works well for blackouts to tell me when I need to power up with the generator instead of leaving it posted continually. I have a Govee in a refrigerator, which cycles between 31 and 36 deg F, within the specified range of the Govee. The Govee is nice in its ability to plot out the chart, and so far works very well.

Question:	Can this be used with things like an engine block or a grill? how high does the heat readings go
Answer:	This is a tool best tuned for houses. Definitely not wide enough range for a grill. I have an IR thermometer I bought for my car years ago that has a very wide temp range -- I'd recommend something not made for figuring out where your house is loosing heat if you want to use with grill and cars. I think my other one does up to like 900 or 1200F.

Answer:	Similar! But accuracy/procedure different. One is infrared, kitchen temp,accurate is best attained by probe/gauge/ dial, the B&D leak detector? Question:	So how is this any different than a non-contact IR thermometer
Answer:	The most important difference between this and a non-contact IR thermometer is that once you read a base temperature you can set the device to give a visual representation of any temperature differences. The way it does that is by changing the color of a bright spot of light it projects on the surface you are measuring. That was important to me because I am in the energy conservation business and I can use it to show my customers where cold air is leaking in around doors or windows or where heat is escaping to the outside. The light will go from green to red or from green to blue depending on whether the temperature is going up or down. Nothing beats a visual indication of what is going on and this gives you that. The light registers when you first read a base temperature then when it changes it goes to blue for colder or red for warmer in 1-5-10 degree increments depending on where it is set. Personally I am no fan of Black and Decker products. I avoid them as being cheap foreign made and low quality. However, this thing works for me and I have had it for two years without any problem.

Answer:	The first part of your question is yes, it records the current temperature. The answer to the second part is no, it only gives the current temperature of the location it is placed; i.e., bedroom, den, bathroom, outside etc. It also gives the humidity.

Answer:	This little device is very accurate we use it in our bath rooms because we are trying to get humidity down so we can install our flooring

Answer:	Just got mine and the humidity reads 7-10% low. I did the salt water calibration test twice and it never got over 65%. The hygrometer is useless.

Answer:	No, it does not. I find it to be quite accurate, though! I would imagine that you could just remove the battery and re-insert it to recalibrate. But manually, no calibration feature. I have baseboard heat with no thermostat so this really helps me know room temperature and humidity. Good product!

Answer:	Assuming basic, alkaline batteries, performance depends very much on temperature. Below about 10 Celsius (50F) capacity begins to drop off. My experience is batteries will last about 5 weeks if the temperature stays above freezing. Sensor position matters too. My sensor is about 12 meters from the receiver, and the signal has to pass through 5 wood frame walls.

Answer:	It takes about 5 minutes or less if the temperature is close to the same. I have placed mine in the deep freezer and then the fridge to check the temperature of each. It takes about 15 minutes to be correct when putting it outside as the temperature is a lot different.
Question:	Aside from buttons, what is the material difference between this and TP63A
Answer:	According to the Amazon site specs/features listings for both, the primary difference is in the outdoor sensor -- the TP62 uses AAA alkaline batteries; the TP63A has rechargeable lithium battery. That, and for me, a 30% discount when I purchased the TP62. The indoor unit for both appear to be the same, in appearance and use. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I only see the ability to choose two channels, which would limit it to only two external transmitters. There is a way to switch channels, but I do not see anything that indicates that this is actually a planned feature.. Hope this helps.
