Answer:	Bees are not bad, just misplaced. Try putting out a saucer of nectar for the bees and plant bee friendly flowers. You may also want to get another feeder and bore out the holes a little so the bees will be able to get the nectar easier leaving the hummingbird feeders for the hummingbirds. I have yet to find a feeder that doesn't attract bees. We all have to live together, and bees are crucial to our agriculture.

Question:	I purchased the red one and it has mold in it. Any ideas how to clean it? What kind of brush would I use to get in there
Answer:	I use a baby bottle brush and hot, hot water.. get in there and scrub. I have little brushes for the drink portals too. I take my feeder apart every 2/3 days and scrub it.. you got to really keep the feeder clean for the poor little birds sake. They can get mold on their little tongues and basically suffocate to death.

Answer:	The glass is extremely strong. My feeder had been knocked to the ground by raccoons several times and it hasn’t broken or received any visible damage.

Answer:	No, it doesn’t have rubber where the feeder openings are. It does have a silicone like gasket where the two bottom sections come together. My hummingbirds don’t seem to have a problem with the feeder.

But do realize that they should be migrating South for the winter so you may not see any. Or you may see lots since they seem to still be on the move and very hungry, at least in my area of northern california. I had dozens this afternoon, but soon they should be gone until spring. They love this feeder.

To feed they go down into the flowers as they sit rather than flying and going up into it so with several types of feeders in the yard they always go to these feeders as they drink easier....

Answer:	Have not seen that happen. The holes are very small, need a pipe cleaner to clean them. We have a lot of flowers in our yard which is where the bees hang out.

Answer:	Don’t use chemicals. Out a little Vegetable Oil the chain with vegetable oil. Ants and other critters don’t do well in oil. Be sure to wash and replenish food and oil every few days.

Answer:	The dia of the round bottom is 7 in. The width of the top square red cap is 3.5 x 3.5 in. The height from red round bottom to top of red cap is 9 inches, but if you add the black hook at the top, it adds another 2 inches to the height for a total of 11 inches. Answer:	i usaully fill the jar to the brim, after capping the jar... i grab the top of the jar (plastic part with hook) then grab the very bottom of feeder (plastic part with flower sippers and foot parking spaces) turn right side up very quickly....and gravity will do the rest... have not lost a sip since i purchase the feeders... they love it !

Answer:	I have 3 of the models offered here: 2 Ruby, 1 Diamond & 1 Orion/Twist; I've never experienced any "bee" or "ant" issues. I take down my feeders every 3 days in warm weather, dump the remaining homemade nectar (the only nectar I use and without any food coloring) and thoroughly wash all parts, inspect for mold and air dry. Warm weather I do this every 3 or 4 days. Once with another hummingbird feeder I had ant issues but it had a holder that was staked into a flower pot...never used it again.

Answer:	Well I am already feeding them with a hanging feeder so they are familiar to my deck. I just went out there and sat in a lawn chair, held the hand feeder in my hand, resting my elbow on the arm of the chair, and was very quiet and still. It wasn't long and the female came in a buzzed around the hanging feeder, seen me, and helped herself! About 10 minutes later the male came in with the same results. After that they didn't usually come back for 30 to 40 minutes. I think if they have too much available for them to eat the less likely they are to come in.
Question:	How did you all get these pictures???? Did you have someone sitting out there with you ready to snap away? As soon as we move they always fly away
Answer:	I just sit out with my camera and they come over. It did take some time for them to get used to having me sit close and now one of them will eat the nectar from my hand. They move fast but if you are still and just look, they can be very curious. I also wear red or a light color when I dit out with to take picutres. They are attracted to these colors.
