Answer:	It takes 3 AA batteries per set. I use Duracell. You can buy them at any store that sells batteries like BestBuy, CVS, Riteaid, Walmart, Target. Amazon also sells AA batteries. Answer:	I measured mine at home with a lux meter app over a fixed area and did some calculations to find that it puts out roughly 600 lumens on the highest setting, which is consistent with the estimate of 10 watt LED = 40 watt incandescent bulb = 600 or so lumens. If you're wondering whether that's good, bad, in-between... It's not 1000 obviously but it's definitely in the range of tactical/defense flashlights, and is great for this price and size. For reference, most cheap flashlights for everyday indoor use are under 100, most camping/outdoor flashlights that aren't "tactical" or otherwise unique fall in the 100 - 400 range, a 75-watt bulb tends to be around 1100, and a single car headlight tends to be around 1300.
