Question:	Can it be used for shelled peanuts
Answer:	Yes! I use it for shelled peanuts almost exclusively. No bird seems to have any issues with it. True, they may bite the shelled peanuts into smaller pieces, but this feeder is always covered with birds, large and small, getting the peanuts. In fact I have two of the feeders up for peanuts. Also, the raccoons, don't seem to get peanuts as easily out of this feeder.
Question:	Will this feeder hold sunflower hearts (not shelled sunflower seeds
Answer:	Yes, as long as they are whole sunflower hearts. Some do fall into the pan when you fill the feeder, but the birds like the shelled sunflowers. I've seen a Downy woodpecker using it. So far, we've had Finches, Chicadees and Nuthatches on it.

Answer:	I use this feeder for black oil sunflower seeds. If they are dried meal worms, I was told they can be mixed in with sunflower seeds. It’s a sturdy feeder and lasted through the winter and is still in perfect condition.
Question:	I have a freud template guide bushing set (model ft2000). unfortunately i misplaced the locknut. will this locknut fit
Answer:	Sorry I don’t have the Freud set to compare. But can confirm that the Powertec lock but does also fit on the Porter Cable collet set.
Question:	Will this fit the Makita rt0701cx7 router
Answer:	Not sure, but it is the standard Porter Cable type bushing that fits all routers that I am aware of. The diameter of the bushing threads that fit into the router base plate is 1 1/8 inches.

Answer:	It's approximately 2" deep......not much feed spills over.

Answer:	No it isn't. I use a leaf blower from beneath to blow out hulls. Or . . . the feeder is attached to the pole with a thumb screw, and so it is easy to remove the feeder from the pole to dump it out.

Answer:	The cedar did not last but 3 years. But the plastic after 6 years is going strong. They only have the one size 10" wide 12" high 12" long is perfect it take blue Jays !

Answer:	Maybe we need to consider the dog's chewing and destructive ability. Normally toys can last for months or even longer. Expect the black ball, the other three all are durable thick rubber and can be a chewing toys. You can guide your pet before the first playing.
Question:	Does this come with the bird food
Answer:	No. All parts are a hard plastic and so far seem to be very durable. The Busy Buddy screws apart in two places, allowing kibbles/treats (I mix about 1:10 treats:kibbles) to be put in it. It can hold a lot! And you can adjust how easily the pieces come out. This is one of Peter's favorite food/treat dispensing toys.

Answer:	My dog loves this toy. It is possible to adjust the opening where the food comes out. You can make the opening holes smaller or larger. I use this as a treat dispenser and a way for my dog to entertain herself. She loves the challange of getting the treats out. It could be used as a food dispenser for kibble, but I like it for her treats.The toy does roll and it is very easy to clean, all plastic, but durable. My dog is a medium size dog, 40 lbs and she will grab the mushroom in her mouth, carry it around, drop it on the floor, roll it, and chase it to get to the treats. Question:	What size suet cakes does this take
Answer:	The large holds 1 cup easily. The small holds about half a cup. That is filling the bottom half and then screwing the top on. If you fill the bottoms any fuller then the food gets in the way of the grooves and you can't screw the two halves together. I think each could hold another 1/2 cup or so if you closed the slots each time and filled the top half and screwed the bottom on while it was 'upside-down'. That would take more time.

Question:	Does any use this for mealworms for Bluebirds
Answer:	I use it strictly for black sunflower seed. I don't think its really designed for mealworms.
Question:	What kind of bird seeds fit this? Sunflower seeds are to big . Wild bird mix falls through. Just got it
Answer:	I use Audobon wild bird mix to which I add black oil sunflower (smaller than regular striped sunflower), safflower, and white millet. Birds love this feeder and there is no seed loss. The tray holds all that comes out and the birds eat out of the tray as well as from the sides.
Question:	Would wet seeds dry in the feeder after rain
Answer:	We live in the desert SW and have never had a problem with wet seed. We have two of these feeders and use them for black oil sunflower seed. They are well made and durable but hold the mesh at the top of the feeder when you unscrew the top or you will twist it. Our birds are so accustomed to the feeders, they fuss at me when they get low! We also have squirrels that put on a circus act when stealing seed, but they do no damage!
Question:	Can bird also get to shelled peanuts with this feeder
Answer:	I think the holes are small for peanuts. It is the best sunflower feeder we have ever had.

Answer:	You can hang the hook on a pole.We have it hanging on a tree branch.Because it is circular shape the birds access from all sides.

Answer:	My feeder has 12 very small drain holes. They are approximately 2 mm in diameter

Answer:	This feeder is designed to hold nyger seeds which attract finches. I use it mainly to feed goldfinches because they just grab unto the mesh to eat. If you want to attract sparrows get a feeder that holds sunflower seeds or a mixture with mostly sunflower seeds. If you want to discourage big birds, search for "small birds feeders", and you will see some caged feeders that will let a small bird in and keep others out. Better yet, buy a few feeders and feed them all.
Question:	I am unable to open the top to this bird feeder. I can open the bottom easily. Can you give me some help
Answer:	The top opens exactly the same way as the bottom, by twisting it or the seed cage in opposite directions. If you are having a hard time, it is because it is stuck. I had the same problem. Empty any seed inside, then turn it so you can see what you are doing and try again. If it won't come loose, put a little oil (vegetable oil probably would be best) on the parts that won't loosen and try again. If necessary, give the top a gentle tap on a hard surface to jar it loose. -- When you put it back together, be sure to avoid twisting it too tightly.

Question:	Are there perch holes on both sides of the feeder? do large nuts and fruit easily come out of the bottom holes of the larger mesh side
Answer:	One side has fine mesh and a perch hole. The other side has bigger mesh, and no perch hole. Instead, there is a perch halfway up on that side. I fill that side with finer seed tha has corn and small seed in it. The mesh is large enough for the birds to get to the seed through the mesh. I se black oil sunflower seed in the other side where the mesh is finer and the seed comes out the hole at the bottom and fills the tray. I don't think the hole is large enough for fruit or large nuts to come out that hole. Hope his helps.
Question:	Does this feeder keep the seed dry so that it doesn't clog up
Answer:	Yes, seeds stay dry. We've had 3 of these in Michigan for a long time now and have never had a problem. Great product!
Question:	Do Cardinals use this feeder? How easy is it to clean
Answer:	Yes, indeed. I have had Cardinals, Goldfinches, House Finches, Blue Jays, and, unfortunately Starlings. I put small mixed seed in one side. I use Black Oil Sunflower Seed in the other. Cardinals love the Black Oil Sunflower Seed. As for cleaning, it should be easy enough, as the top comes off, and you can wash it out and turn upside down to drain and dry. I love this feeder as it attracts a wide variety of birds, using 2 different kinds of seed.
Question:	You say the hook/ring, and roof are metal; of what is the mesh screen, and the tray made
Answer:	The tray and mesh are both metal.
