Question:	What is the cooking time vs frying, frying being 3.5 min per pound
Answer:	10-12 minutes per pound but there is no preheating time required. Having done deep fried and using the Big Easy, Total time is about the same.
Question:	How does this compare to charcoal grills? We love steak, chicken and chops... will we be disappointed
Answer:	This will be a great grill for you,.. I suggest you review the manual on how it sets up. If you are cooking for more than 4 I suggest buying another insert for the grill rack, again, do some online research. The meat will remain moist! I bought mine to use as a smoker but not as impressed with that function as I cannot get the temp to stay down to 210-225.
Question:	what size propane tank do you use
Answer:	Hi, I don't know the size of the propane tank but it is the standard size that you get from Blue Rhino, you give an empty and get a full one for approx. $20.00. Also, do yourself a favor and never use a bristle grill brush. I took a bristle out of my mouth while eating a hamburger, then I closely inspected the grill and saw many trapped on the lower grate supports. Charbroil makes a red nylon one they recommend. Google grill brush bristle injuries, you won't believe it. I had no idea. I am trying to tell everyone I can.
Question:	Someone above wrote the temp goes from 325-450, is that true you cannot bring it down to 205 for slow smoking
Answer:	Use the water pan as mentioned in other replies, but more importantly, use at least one good probe thermometer. The lowest I've had mine down to for smoking was 215, and it took a lot of work to get there. I added a true fire brick to the bottom of the basket as a heat sink as well as the water pan, and cracked to lid about an inch. ( shouldn't have to do that according to the owners forum). Also, this was in Feb. in PacNW, on a covered and sheltered deck. So , that all helped. As for grilling and roasting, remember that the owners manual tells you to run with the lid open. Again, a quality probe thermometer comes in handy here. Bottom line, don't be afraid to experiment. The 3 in 1 big easy is a great choice for most casual and occasional users.

Answer:	When I ordered mine it only took a few days. It depends on availability I suppose. This seems to be a very popular Item.

Answer:	I rubbed oil on the entire griddle surface (top. bottom and sides) and I heated up my regular barbeque grill to 500 degrees. I then put the griddle in the grill and closed the lid and let heat up for about a half hour before turning off the grill. I let it cool completely and repeated the process. the griddle came out perfectly seasoned and ready to us.
Question:	Does it cook a steak as well as a grill with a lid
Answer:	the griddle , the oil drip pan, and the adapter. Nice tool for camping or back yard BBQ, there is also 28" and 36"...my next upgrade will be 36". you will need a propane tank (10-15 lb.)

Answer:	You could use a stainless steel melting dome. Cuisinart makes a 9” one. It won’t fit like a lid but it will work to help melt cheese etc or to concentrate the heat. Wear a mitt it will get HOT.

Answer:	First, this is a great little grill. The engineering is better than most similar products at a greater cost. I believe the small propane bottle can be stored in the unit. You do not need any extra parts.
Question:	What is the thickness of the griddle
Answer:	It does not lock but it will stay securely on.
Question:	Can you get the GB4000 with a porcelin coating
Answer:	It doesn't allow the heating properties of a grill with a lid. I got a stainless steel "melting" lid to place over the steak. I like that because it's easier to keep clean than a full grill lid and I store mine in my RV. I also use a 1 gallon propane tank to avoid using the disposable green Coleman bottles. I like the unit a lot and will also go with other reviewers and use the sous vide preparation.

Answer:	It comes with a coating. Don't know if it is preseasoned but food does not stick. I bought 2 of them. Last weekend cooked 5 lbs hamburger, 1 lb bacon, 3 steaks, 8 fried eggs. Nothing stuck, everything was perfect and I highly recommend the Blackstone.
Question:	When i use my grill sometimes i'll turn off the burners then back on. sometimes they turn on very low. anyone else
Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. Our griddles have a safety feature with the regulators. If the propane was not turned off completely or in the exact steps, the regulator will prevent much gas flow from going through the regulator the next time. I have noticed that our recent batch of regulators are more sensitive than they have been in the past. You might try turning removing the propane tank and then reattaching it. This should reset the regulator from the above mentioned safety feature. Also, there are air gates at the front of each burner that can be adjusted to your preference. They control the air to gas ratio. There is a small silver screw at the front of the burner tube that you can loosen and then you can slide the gate more open or closed depending on your preference. We typically have the air gates half closed or even 3/4 of the way closed. I hope this helps. Question:	What warranty does it come with? And has anyone successfully made use of it
Answer:	I really liked the grill cover especially the material and the way it fit when I received it in June 2020. Last week in November 2020, 5 months later, I noticed a very small puncture in it. I could not find a warranty on it. It appears they do not list one. I called the distributor for the grill cover, YH Goods. Customer service was very helpful and replaced the cover which was very appreciated. With that kind of service, one probably doesn't need a warranty.
Question:	My grill is about 49" wide. Will this work or be too big
Answer:	I think the cover will work even though your grill is a not that wide. There are velcro straps at the bottom on both sides to kinda bring the cover in a bit. The quality of this thing is unbelievable .. .. .. it is very heavy and the weight alone should keep it on the grill. I didn't use the straps and it just hangs there and the wind doesn't bother it at all. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.
Question:	Will it keep it from freezing to my grill during the winter
Answer:	It should not freeze to your grill as long as you do not have any water or moisture trapped under it. I live in Minnesota. When I use it in the winter and forget to replace the cover after the grill cools off until the next day and if it snows or sleet falls on it in the mean time be sure the grill is dry before replacing the cover. One method is run the grill for a short time; let it cool and then replace the cover.
Question:	Is it really waterproof? I’m on my 3rd cover now and cannot find one that keeps my grill dry
Answer:	From what I can see it is waterproof. My grill is sitting under the soffit of my house. We have had several bad rains with terrible winds, and when the cover was removed the grill was dry.... of course it could have dried out sitting in the sun after the rain too! For the money I have never purchased a product with such fantastic value. We are living on the side of a mountain here, with plenty of winds, the cover is so heavy that even without the velcro ties attached it just hangs on the grill. It really is worth the money! The only negative I can tell is getting the "hang" of actually putting the cover on the grill. It is so large and heavy it took awhile to understand the "technique" as to how to accomplish this task. . . . (you have to throw the bottom/back of the cover up and over and back behind the grill first and then lift from the top).... you'll understand..... I wouldn't pass buying this thing up for nothing!

Answer:	Not sure about fabric myself, but I did visit a Weber store just recently and the had covers on display. My thought was that material used was equivalent or better than a Weber’s at 1/4 the price . I would strongly requimend this product. Hint hint, I bought one size larger, as I can store (2) zero gravity loungers at the same time.

Answer:	You need to measure your grill. The LxWxH dimensions they give are accurate. If your grill is 72" wide, it will fit. It's a heavy black waterproofed canvas, similar to say, a durable duffel bag.

Answer:	The 3 yr warranty is a SHAM. The company is Kanma inc. You will need to send the Amazon seller an email and they will send you a link to pay them $10 in "shipping" for the replacement cover. You will be buying replacement covers every 6-9 months at $10 a piece for the next 3 years. What a scam. DO NOT BUY. It looks like a great cover at first but it clearly has severe rotting issues in normal outdoor conditions in a very short time period.
