User questions & answers
Question: | Can you use it indoors |
Answer: | So I can’t hook it up to a 1lb. Bottle? What do I need to go with grill to enable it to go with 1lb. Or 20lb. Tank. |
Question: | Does this grill fit on the Cuisinart stand model number CFGS |
Answer: | No!!! I made a wood top to fit within the cfgs 150 stand then mounted the cgg-306 Grill to it. Also the stand was reinforced to remain ridged and upright as a permanent fixture with tank installed. Very easy to accomplish with basic woodworking skills. Bought a universal smoker cover to protect it and it takes up so little space on the deck. |
Question: | Is this grill RV "quick connect" adaptable?. It doesn't show it but I'm assuming it only has a typical propane bottle screw connect |
Answer: | Yes, with the right hose (it's NOT a propane bottle screw connect). At the grill end you need a 3/8" female flare connector -- and then whatever your RV requires on the other end (typically a male quick connect). And of course no regulator since the RV connect is already regulated to lower pressure. I looked around quite a bit and had a hard time finding a hose online (including at Amazon). Found one at propane gear dot com, SKU 32630, works perfectly. |
Question: | does it come with a propane hose |
Answer: | The Cuisinart CGG-306 comes with a 38 inch hose that will reach from a 32 inch table top to a tank sitting on the floor. Google this model, you'll see Cuisanart's own site for this model. Download the manual. It says a 38" hose comes in the box. |

Ready to use in minutes
The Cuisinart Chef's Style Stainless Tabletop Grill can be ready for grilling in less than ten minutes, without the need for tools or matches. It features a powerful two-burner system with electronic ignition and dedicated control knobs for each stainless steel burner--cooking choices that are not available on other portable grills. The locking cover, folding legs, and a comfortable carrying handle makes it easy to take anywhere. It's perfect for picnics, tailgating, camping, the beach, or anywhere a reliable grill is needed. Requires a 20 lb. tank of propane (not included).
Perfect for large cuts of meat
If you want to roast or smoke large cuts of meat, indirect grilling on a two-burner grill is the best method. The Cuisinart Chef's Style Stainless Tabletop Grill is ideal for cooking whole chickens, turkey, briskets and large cuts of meat. The meat is first seared over a hot burner and then moved to the cool side of the grill where it can slowly cook in an oven-like environment. The heat is controlled by the burner that's farthest from the meat, which ensures that it isn't charred on the outside and under cooked in the center. And since the meat will not be over direct heat there is no need to flip or turn it.
Made for people who love to grill
With total temperature control it's easy to get professional results every time. A stainless steel grate offers superior heat conduction so that foods cook evenly, and the two-burner system allows for a cooking environment that can heat up to 700° or more. Each stainless steel burner provides 10,000 BTUs. With both burners in use you will have 20,000 BTUs of fire that can heat up the grill in no time. Sear meats on the hottest burner while simultaneously roasting vegetables on the cooler one. An accurate built-in thermometer makes it easy to monitor temperatures at a glance.
All stainless-steel construction
The Cuisinart Chef’s Style Stainless Tabletop Grill is made entirely of stainless steel and weighs less than 25 lbs., so it's light enough to carry anywhere, and small enough to fit in a compact car.
More control over heat
An integrated thermometer and adjustable burner knobs help you control the heat of the grill for any use, whether it's for warming, baking, roasting or searing. A twist-start automatic ignition means that matches are never required.
A lifetime of enjoyment
The Cuisinart Chef’s Style Stainless Tabletop Grill requires no assembly. Fold open the legs, attach the gas source and start the fire with the twist of a knob. It's an ideal gift for those who appreciate chef style grilling wherever they go.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is there accessory hangers on the grill? I don't see any like on previous versions |
Answer: | They upgraded the burner but something as simple as utensil hangers, they took off. |
Question: | will the pan adapters that fit the LXE road trip grills fit this unit |
Answer: | I'm not absolutely sure. I made a mistake, thanks to Amazon's "Click-to Order" feature. I mistakenly ordered the "Road Trip 285" instead of the "LXE." I received them both , but returned the "Road Trip" model. However, when I had them here, they looked the same in size to me. except for some differences in the stand. a 3rd burner and the way the side shelves were integrated, they looked virtually the same. Hope this helps. |
Question: | How do you clean out grease |
Answer: | I put 16 ounces of water in the drip pan. After cooking, I dump the water and wipe the drip pan with paper towels. The BBQ is designed to prevent grease from dripping on burners. So far this design has worked for me. |
Question: | how much does it weigh in comparison to the other coleman portable grills |
Answer: | There really isn't much differance in weight to be concerned with. The main feature that made my decision is the aluminium folding transport-stand and the 3 burner 20,000 BTU grill. After using the grill I found the removalable grease pan made the grill exceptionable. Easy to remove the cast iron grill plates and grease pan for cleaning. Truly a great design with functionality. Staring the grill with three burners on it is ready to sear steaks, burgers and sausage in a few short minutes. Very happy with the operation, cleaning and transportability. I purchased the braid stainless steel hose to have the option to use a 20 lb propane cylinder. I tried both a propane bottle & 20 lb cylinder both work great. I use it at home and package it up to use with the travel trailer. I rate the Coleman Roadtrip 285 as a Five ++ Star Purchase. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the burner inside supposed to be slightly slanted or crooked |
Answer: | Dont know if it is supposed to be but mine sure is. |
Question: | What size teflon sheets would I need to buy for this grill? Thank you |
Answer: | The actual cooking size, of the grill, is 16”x9”. That’s the area you have to grill. The grate. No bigger. Hope that helps. |
Question: | What material are the sides? They look like plastic. Thanks |
Answer: | The sides are made of metal. I brought this grill down to the Florida Keys and cooked on it for 12 straight night. It was able to do whatever I ask her to do. If you need it to cook low and slow it did it. If you needed to sear something did that also. As long as you got some grilled intellect this little cooker handles food like something much bigger |
Question: | does it come with one propane tank |
Answer: | No. There are no bottles of propane with the grill. You can get the propane bottles at Walmart or a sporting goods store for a few dollars. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are rocks or lava rocks needed |
Answer: | no rocks or lava rocks needed...just purchase gas in the small bottles available at Wallmart..used on pontoon with no problems |
Question: | Why can't i light the grill? i followed the instructions? i bought it in april but didn't open it till october for emergency coking |
Answer: | We had problems but mainly our problem was with the propane bottle. If we had it to do all over again we would have bought a better one not to say it wouldn't have problems. Was not really happy with this purchase. |
Question: | It wont turn off. i push the knob down and turn it, but it doesn't stop. i have to remove the tank. can i replace the knob |
Answer: | I don't know, you ought to contact maker, mine smokes so bad I don't use anymore and only used 3 times. |
Question: | Why does it have a hole in the end of burner which connects to the regulator - Looks like propane will escape thru that hole |
Answer: | Th hole acts as a ventury to mix air with the propane. It won't leak out do to the gas is under pressure. The draw of the pressured gas literally pulls the air in to make a combustible mixture in the grill. |

User questions & answers
Question: | do the side table fold down to save space |
Answer: | No, the side table cannot be folded. You can choose to disassemble it to save space. |
Question: | What is gauge of griddle and thickness |
Answer: | The size of the griddle is 38-1/2" x 19-1/4". Thickness: 5/32" |
Question: | When you wish to use the grill only, is the griddle easily removed |
Answer: | The flat top weighs ~40 lbs, but due to the width, would be awkward to move alone, even if you are able to physically lift it alone. I would recommend a 2-person move, only for this reason. I lifted the top by myself, while vertically in the box (when it arrived), but lifting while horizontal would definitely change the weight distribution. |
Question: | Why is there no rateings |
Answer: | I would rate it a strong 5. It's a great investment. I bought it for my cabin but am considering buying one for home as well. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does anyone know what the weight and dimensions of the boxed grill are |
Answer: | Hi! The box dimensions of the Q2200 are L: 32.5" x W: 18.2" x H: 17.6" with a weight of 43.5lbs. Thanks! |
Question: | All the dimensions I see are with the lid open and the side platforms extended. What are the "buttoned up" dimensions with the lid closed |
Answer: | Contacted Weber (800) 446-1071 Rep said it was approximately, since she had to go to floor and measure, lid closed tables retracted Q2200 is 27 inches long, Q1200 17 inches long |
Question: | how long does small propane canister last |
Answer: | I get 2 1/2 hours out of a Coleman disposable cannister using this way: 1. 8 minutes on high to preheat. 2. Turn down to 1/2 heat when I toss on my steak. 3. Steaks take around 4 to 6 minutes depending on thickness. I cooked exactly as above thru 3 canisters, and used a timer each time I fired it up and extinguished it. I have since converted over to a full size propane tank - I just wanted to see how long the canisters would last. |
Question: | Can anyone tell me the footprint of the legs? I need to know the length and width on the legs footprint |
Answer: | I don't have this grill yet, but I plan to buy it for my camper soon. The most common unanswered question I've seen about this grill is the closed dimensions, which you would think Weber would publicize, considering it's meant to be a compact, portable grill. Because of this, I went into a Home Depot yesterday, and measured the floor model. The width, with the side shelves closed, is 32 inches. The height, with the lid closed, is 15.5 inches. The depth, with the lid closed, measured from the front of the handle to the back of the hinges is 18.5 inches. The feet have a footprint of 21 inches wide by 15 inches deep. The side tables are about 12 inches wide, and they do fold to inside of the grill when not in use. The grilling surface, measured at its longest points, is 22 inches wide by 16 inches deep. The grilling surface does taper somewhat towards each end. There are two grilling grates, so one can be replaced with the griddle. The grate does have an integrated "cover" over the burner. The regulator does look like it is screwed in, so can be removed to attach it to another regulated source like that on a camper. I couldn't try to unscrew it in store, because the regulator is held in place with a couple screws. |
