Answer:	Yes it does get hot on top and sides. It depends on its angle to the sun . I have a fenced in garden and use these for raised beds so its not an issue for us.

Question:	How does the water drain out
Answer:	Yes, there were black liners in both the elevated planters we bought. They were used successfully two seasons of planting before they were left outside uncovered during the winter. As could have been expected, the weather and wind destroyed them for this season. The planters are still in excellent condition even though they have been outdoor since purchased.

Question:	What type and height of garden fencing would one recommend with this product? Thanks
Answer:	My husband uses the 7.5” laying down though since his surgery. I’m looking at it and it seems like it would be almost straight up in a vertical position. I would think the 12” would let you sit up but give slightly more recline which would be more comfortable
Question:	Can these beds be left out in winter
Answer:	Keep in mind many customers are being scammed by having 7.5" pillows being provided instead of the 12" ones. I bought 2 that were actually only 7.5", and even said it on the attached label. One person in the reviews section even received a pillow that still had the complaint note from the previous customer, which means they are reselling used pillows as new one; hopefully they didn't have head lice.

Answer:	No they don’t but I use a thinner regular pillow on top of the wedge.

Question:	Have they stopped making drainage holes? No holes in mine. The instruction manual says that there aren't any holes
Answer:	This is larger than you may think. However, it stands vertically and its ground footprint is reasonable. You could use this indoors and grow a lot of food. This is a great product for someone who has limited space but wants to grow large quantities.
Question:	If used outdoors, it it pretty "rustproof
Answer:	The Outland Living Vertical Gardens are not constructed with wheels to ensure stability of the product. Instead, the product is designed with slanted foot tabs in the back and straight tabs in the front. Given the weight of the product once the bins are filled with soil and the swaying feature of the garden, we found it best to design the product to be stationary.
Question:	Which vegetables will work best in these planters
Answer:	Don't know about replacement boxes, but they are good quality and 12"wide. I plan to build wood boxes for the frame when needed but don't think that will be for several years.
Question:	Are the plastic containers BPA free
Answer:	All four planters have one hole in the bottom to create the cascading water system but it comes with one plug that fits snuggly into the hole of the bottom planter so it won't leak onto your floor. I love this system! It is high quality made of steel and powder coated to prevent rusting. Highly recommend!

Question:	How many kits come in the package
Answer:	These bins do not come with drainage holes. Not everyone wants drainage holes in their planters. But, if you want to add drainage holes, we suggest using a 5/16” (8mm) drill bit (drill bit not included). This way, if you change your mind later on (because you might change your mind!), you can use the 5/16” silicone stoppers we have supplied you with to plug the holes. Question:	Do these have a bottom
Answer:	for the most, yes. however, I did see a small amount of rust when I used these outdoors. I believe this is due to a metal lip that holds each planter on the backside. My theory is that the lip was quite tight that prevented drainage. with this aside, I've scrapped the rust off and plan to paint before next summer.
Question:	Could this be used for a kids sand box if you use garden fabric underneath
Answer:	I've got strawberries in mine, but the list of vegetables that will thrive in this planter is endless. I'm going to use it for lettuce next.

Answer:	Sure, landscaping fabric and sand will work in it. Consider a way to cover it when not in use by your child so cats don’t use it for a litter box.
Question:	How much soil is needed
Answer:	My experience (as an artist) is that vinyl doesn't take paint well; however, people paint vinyl siding successfully. If you want to try it, before assembling the garden bed, sand the side you want to paint so the paint has something to "grab". Wash it with detergent soap, like Spic and Span, to remove any oils. Paint the garden bed your desired color, let dry, and then assemble it. The paint should last for a few years and you can easily repaint it.

Question:	Is this product made in the usa or china
Answer:	I discovered I attempted to assemble with the panels upside down or the bottom of the panels up. Took it apart and reassembled it after reversing the panels and all of the predrilled holes matched perfectly. The instructions should mention this or they should put UP stickers on the panels.
Question:	Are these able to be reused
Answer:	Hello, I actually have this bed in a shaded area that I grow my brassica/greens/lettuce in. It is very very sturdy and I love it I bought 2 of them and will purchase more. I am sorry I can't answer the question about the sun as I live in a Dallas suburb.
Question:	how is the water drainage
Answer:	I bought both and that is correct. I like the green one better because it is more sturdy than the larger version and I will be purchasing 2 more to complete my garden.
Question:	What type of soil do you need anf how much
Answer:	this garden bed size is: 5.68x2.96x0.98 ft. It can hold up to 467Liter soil, but we recommend tat you could make a little less depending on what you want to plant.

This set of four 9” garden bed corner brackets will make your flower or vegetable garden sturdy, neat, and tidy. Our brackets are extremely durable and will last through many seasons. Rust resistant screws are included, 8 per bracket. Building an RMP Raised Garden/Flowerbed List of items needed: 4 – RMP Raised Garden bed brackets (screws are included) 4 - 2"x10" or 2"x12" pieces of lumber (purchase and cut to length at your local lumber store) A quality impact driver with a Philips bit will make easy work of this project. A pick and/or shovel and a rake for leveling your site. A level, a square, a ruler or tape measure and a pencil. Level the site: 1. Pick a spot 2. Level the area as best you can. Build the bottom row: 3. Find the middle of your RMP Raised Garden bracket and make a pencil mark on the outside edge 4. Place your bracket over the end of your lumber and slide the bracket to your pencil mark 5. Using the screws provided attach the bracket to your first board. If all four sides of your garden are not the same length, attach all four brackets to ends of your two longest boards first. 6. With all four brackets attached to the two longest boards, you can begin to attach the two shorter sides of your bottom row. 7. After you have your bottom row of your raised bed completed, move it into place and to make sure it is level. Build the second row: 8. Repeat the process for the second row Optional: 9. Add some galvanized chicken wire to the bottom of your garden to prevent moles from burrowing 10. Add a weed barrier to the bottom of your garden. 11. Add a heavy mil plastic to the inside of your garden walls to prevent any chemicals that may be in treated lumber from leaching into your garden.
