Question:	Does the manufacturer have any comment on the mold in the soil? I'd like to give this as a gift, but there aren't many reviews saying the seeds grew
Answer:	Hello. I bought this for myself like 6 to 7 months ago. The seeds did not grow, all of them. I got more seeds from the sellers, and planted them with a different soil and in different pots and so far those haven’t grown either. The worst thing is that their soil is also infested with mold, and some of my other plants that were close to this pots got infected too. So I wouldn’t recommend it.

Question:	Mushrooms grew on the first side in 7 days. Harvested. The carton and plastic fell apart. I put it on a foam plate and put a plastic bag around the entire thing. Misting. Not growing. 9 days second side. Any suggestions
Answer:	I haven't tried growing the other side yet. We had a major forest fire right after my first harvest, so everything was put on hold. But i had an incredible amount of mushrooms from my first harvest. And even though I quit misting the box, another very large shroom grew out of the box. I'll try the other side soon, after soaking it. Most of all, I learned how to grow these delicious mushrooms. As I live in the forest with many decaying logs around, I can order some spores and have a large harvest. I'm very glad I tried this first.
Question:	Does this have to be used as soon as received in mail? Will it be effective if received but not used for 1-3 weeks? Trying to time when to buy this
Answer:	So I had one of these that I left just sitting around because I was afraid to get it started in the middle of winter... The mycelium cake was so aggressive that it just started growing inside the bag, forcing me to open it up and take care of it! If you're going to keep them in storage, I'd recommend keeping them chilled so that the mycelium isn't trying to grow as aggressively as mine has! I'm not complaining, but it was certainly an unexpected surprise that I probably could've postponed, had I kept the mycelium cake somewhere colder.
Question:	Should this be kept inside the home or in the garage? How long does a batch typically take to grow? What recipes do you use them in
Answer:	we kept ours in the kitchen.. the first batch took a bit longer because we discovered we did not soak it enough. The second batch only took less than a week. Honestly, we didnt eat them, I procrastinated and didn't pick them soon enough and they wilted. As soon as they grow you almost have to eat them.
Question:	How many harvests are you guys getting? I'm looking at this from an economic standpoint -- so is it cheaper than buying mushrooms at the grocers
Answer:	I got a large harvest from this...it was amazing how fast they grew. I kept it moist until they started sprouting and then left them pretty much alone. Within about 10-14 days I had more mushrooms than expected!

Natural Roots Avocado Pit Floater

Instructions for growing an avocado tree.

You only need the following: an avocado pit, a bowl, fresh water, and Natural Roots Avocado seed floater.

1. Wash the avocado pit with warm water
2. Gently peel the thin layer of skin off the pit
3. Place the avocado pit on the wooden avocado floater with the broad side down
4. Fill a bowl with fresh water and place the avocado floater inside the bowl
5. Place the the bowl in a warm sunny spot, but not in direct sunlight 
6. Replenish the water in the bowl as needed

Initially, the wood will absorb some water and tannins will be released from the wood changing the color of the water. This is natural and to be expected as this product is 100% natural and not treated with any chemicals. Refresh the water the first few days until the water remains clear. At this point, only replenish the water as needed.

The avocado pit may take 1 to 6 weeks to grow roots and sprout. However, if the pit does not produce roots after 8 weeks, throw it away, get a new one and start over.

When the avocado pit has produced leaves and has grown around 5 inches it is time to plant it in soil. Be careful to remove the avocado plant from the floater to transplant in a pot with soil. Half of the avocado pit should be above the soil level.

We are at a few days later, all are doing great, and new ones hatching almost daily. Make sure you get a small sponge filter, and a small air pump. They do need oxygen, and filters. Answer:	The kit comes with 3 trays, so this can be divided between 3 windowsills if needed. Each tray is approximately 11 inches long.

Answer:	Cheap plastic. Mine were an ugly cream with yellow tones. Not sure why they do not use green or terracotta colored pots. Don’t buy this kit for the pots. Way over priced compared to buying soil disks and seeds separately.

Answer:	Hello! You can certainly start them outdoors; however, make sure you keep a very close eye on your soil hydration level. Since it's summertime, the seed starting soil tends to dry quickly outdoors. It's a better idea to get them started indoors and then transition them outdoors. Question:	Winter is coming to new england but i really want to try this. what kind of light should i get to help with the growing
Answer:	Hi Alix! :) Thanks for this question, we're happy to help as always! We recommend purchasing an LED grow light if you plan to grow your herbs through the winter and if you live in a location that gets limited sunshine during this part of the year. There are many options for LED grow lights on Amazon. Be sure that your grow light has the following features if you do decide to get one: 1) Full spectrum light, 2) Adjustable height so you can raise the lights as your plants grow. Additionally, as mentioned in the instructional pamphlet that is included in our kits, be sure that you keep your lights on for 12-16hrs per day (the rule of thumb is that you double natural light sunshine time when using grow lights, so because your plants require at least 6-8hrs of sunshine, you would provide them with at least 12-16hrs of grow light time). We recommend using a timer so your lights come on in the early morning and turn off on their own in the evening so the plants get evening rest during the night. I hope that helps, Alix! Answer:	Hi M.M., Thanks for your question, happy to help from this end! :) Ana and I have listed below the heights that your organic herb seedlings will grow to when given enough sunlight, fresh air and the proper watering schedule. Note that after your herbs have grown out of the included seed starting pots (to between 3-5" in height), you'll want to transplant them to a larger pot so their root systems can fully develop, otherwise their growth will be limited and they will eventually die off.
