If you read carefully, the 10 lb package actually has less than one lb of seeds. Small percentage is fertilizer. 99% are mulch which you can purchase it much less price. It also depends how many sq. ft to plan to cover. This 10 lbs package covers less than 200 sq.ft. It also stated gauantee to germinate in any temperature, even exreme heat, it did not happened that way.

Answer:	The Turf Builder Bermudagrass watersmart plus coating is not phytosanitary certified.

Answer:	No. Go with fescue seeds for shade. Besides, Bermuda seeds have very low germination rate.

Answer:	Bermuda grass needs full sun and wont really take off growing rhizomes until temps reach 80+ for a week or more. Also, night time temps should stay fairly warm. If you live in an area where this is not the case purchase fescue. I live in central NC and it grows well but just an hour or so west from here it is too cool to be a good performer.

Answer:	A five LB bag will cover 5,000 square feet -- so they say. But, it depends on how you spread it. DO NOT attempt to spread it if your SOIL TEMPERATURE is less than 70 degrees. Get a soil temp gauge. And even then, you still have to water it with a light spray every hour. I tried it at 64 degrees, and it just didn't do ANYTHING until it got up to 70 degrees. Good luck with that.

This product did an ok job and grass did grow on some slopes where seeds wouldn't stick before, but the grass is not very "sturdy" and seems to not have deep roots.

Answer:	The product listed is "Tall Fescue" which is a cool-season grass, not meant for south Florida.

Answer:	Don't overwater, just mist it daily to keep the seeds moist. Also you should put a little soil over the seed or scratch them into the soil otherwise they wont grow if just laying on top of the soil.

Answer:	I am not sure but I am planning to toss some more out over the few bare batches I have remaining within the next couple of weeks. I don't know where you live so I guess it depends on the weather. I live in Clovis, CA and it is supposed to be 87 degrees today with the temperature in the next week or so being 89, 92, 85, 83, and then mid to upper 70's for a while. If you live in a similar area, you are probably safe to plant. I think with temps in the 70's and good watering, the grass should get off to a good start. As far as growing in the Fall, our lawn stayed green all Winter. We had very few freezes last year and none of the grass died. Good luck.

1. Prep

Remove dead grass if necessary and loosen the top 2 inches of soil. Fall and Spring are the best times to use PatchMaster Lawn Repair Mix. Seed germinates best anytime temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F and all danger of frost has passed.

2. Apply

First, shake the bag to mix the contents. Next, evenly spread a thin layer of PatchMaster Lawn Repair Mix so the area is completely covered.

3. Water

A deep and thorough initial watering is the key to success. Gently water the area until PatchMaster Lawn Repair Mix is completely saturated and no more water is being absorbed (this may take several minutes). Avoid pooling water or run-off. Continue to water daily or more as needed to keep the soil moist.
