Question:	Where are these scissors made
Answer:	We used this for a poster mounted on foam core. The arms where the poster rests has slots that were just wide enough for the foam core if spread to the side. That helped to keep the poster stationary. If you have something fatter, it can rest on the inside edge of the arms and the weight will probably hold it pretty steady. If you look at the arms close up, you can probably see what I mean.

Answer:	I didn’t notice any odor.
Question:	Do these scissors really work well for left-handed people
Answer:	Yes it should hold a 20 x 20 canvas. According to my measurements it extends 23" in height (and it is adjustable) and the stand at the base is about 1 foot wide so I'd think it would hold it. You might need to put something sticky on the bottom of it to hold it still on the table that it rests on as people sign it, or weigh it down a little. But that might not be an issue.

Answer:	The smallest I have used so far, is 14X18 - the largest is 16X20 (I think this is the largest canvas you should use for painting purposes). I don't plan to use any other sizes than these so I have never changed the screws around to accommodate any other sizes. I have a smaller lighter weight easel for smaller canvases if I need it. Question:	I've used scissors before that are "stiff". Is it easy to move the blade from open to closed and vise versa
Answer:	Since I use these for food I wash the blades and oil the screw with canola oil. If you don't use it for food oil it with WD-40. Spray the screw and the open and close fast til it smoothly opens a closes. Then just wipe it with a paper towel. When ever it gets sticky cutting tape etc wd-40 will clean that off as well.

Answer:	Fiskars 12-9653 6984 Titanium Nitride 9" Shop Shears would be better in my opinion. I have both and use the 8 in as a kitchen utility shears and the 9 in in the garage. Neither would work for a carpet layer who wants to cut lots of carpet on a daily basis. For a homeowner the 9 in would do a quick trim. A utility knife is my go to carpet cutting tool.

Answer:	I believe it will only trim one piece of cardstock at a time...however, I haven't really tried it. I would think that the cardstock is too heavy to slide beneath the wire, plus it may slip

Answer:	Plenty of room for thumbs of most sizes. If you’re comfortable using 2 fingers in the larger opening you’re also good. I’m a fairly small woman & 3 fingers just fit comfortably in the larger opening. Great scissors though.

Answer:	I am 78 yrs old and don't have a lot of strength in my hands. I use these scissors all the time with no problem. They are nice and sharp and cut very well. If they are too tight you can just loosen the screw. I have used Fiskars for years. When they get dull I just order another pair, They are reasonable. Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	The height is about 18" tall and the width approx 15". I find this is just the right size. In the past I purchased a larger basket and by the time I put gardening debris in the basket, it was extreme heavy. This 10 gal. makes it easier to carry. Suggestion, only fill half way.

Answer:	If you are into serious gardening, I would suggest buying a large round plastic trash can, cut off the bottom of the trash can, and insert the trash can without the bottom into a 39 gallon lawn waste bag. I put lawn waste in the 10 gallon Fiskars gardening bag and then empty that into the 39 gallon lawn waste bag, as required. Once the lawn waste bag is filled, remove the plastic trash can, and pull the cord on the lawn waste bag.
