Just two days ago, I loaded my last cartridge, so over an 8 month period, I have used 5 cartridges. That calculates out to 0.625 cartridge per month. All the cartridges that were issued to me have functioned properly so I am satisfied. I would suspect that cartridges sitting around for long amounts of time will eventually dry up, but I have not see that during the 8 months of my pen use. To me, a reasonable insurance against dried up cartridges would be to purchase a converter and a bottle of ink. No question as to the condition of replacement ink cartridges. BOB |
