Answer:	This uses what is referred to as "S" or standard staples. Most staplers found on any desk (unless it is a mini-stapler) uses standard staples.

Answer:	I don’t see why not, going through a half inch of paper is a lot tougher than balsa wood.
Question:	How do you get the staples in? The directions are useless
Answer:	Hold the base firmly and push the chrome part at the rear (extends about 3/4 of an inch past the beige upright) towards the front (moves maybe 1/8 inch oz so till it stops) and lift it about a1/4 inch then slide it back and off the stapler. Then put the staples in and push the part you took off back in all way until it stops, push down slightly till it locks on. Hard to describe without a picture.
Question:	How far back can you put the paper
Answer:	You can staple approximately 2 3/4 inches down on paper. If you look at the picture, there is a slot in the base ( under the silver staple head ) and there is a guide that slides back and forth in the slot. With the guide slid all the way back there is 2 3/4 inches between the guide and the staple point.

Question:	What are the "recommended staples" for this item
Answer:	Send it back for a new one. There is no mechanism for clearing a jam other than trying to get the staple magazine out somehow.

Answer:	They do not it is load but pretty reliable.
Question:	Do you need to buy the recommended staples or are regular staples just as good
Answer:	You will need a pair of pliers. Preferably needle nose. You will need to grab a prong that is sticking out and I then twist the pliers toward the center of the stapler bar ( the part that shoots the staples down). You might have to do this a couple of times until the staple comes out completely. That should clear the track for the next staple. Be sure that the next staple is pushed fully to the front of the stapler so that the stapling bar can catch just that one staple fully. If it doesn't it will jam again. Loading the new staple coil should help but only if it can push that last staple into position. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I didn't find anyone that came with the stapler, just used own experience and there is a chart on the front side of stapler that what type of staples are needed for the number of pages to staple..

Answer:	It comes with a decent supply of staples. It will accept different size staples, so I recommend that you use it some before you buy additional staples because it depends on how many sheets you are trying to staple.
Question:	Is this adjustable? Would I be able to staple book
Answer:	You can only staple materials that are one inch high or lower. Not adjustable for any stacks of paper higher than one inch.
