Answer:	No, this is just a recliner chair, though it’s super comfortable. For laying flat I recommend the “Ostrich” lounger. Answer:	14 1/2 inches in both positions for the back of the seat. As far as the knee location in the sitting position, it is 18 inches.... in the reclining position the knee location is at 23 inches.
