Question:	Is the arbor threaded for a drawbar
Answer:	No chuck goes to zero - the jaws at the point where they grip the object would have to be infinitely small in order to do so. However, if this chuck goes down to 1/16" as Chuck Burch suggested, that's probably good enough for most everyone. If you need to go smaller you can always get a Jacobs-type chuck on an arbor for a jeweler's lathe and hold that smaller chuck in this larger 1/2" one. These smaller chucks will easily hold a #80 drill bit.
Question:	will this fit a WEN 3420 lathe
Answer:	I believe it is a standard 3/8 chuck, but i would suggest taking it to your local hardware store and finding one that fits.

Answer:	I personally wouldn't because they are almost all cotton and it would chafe a lot, but there isn't any technical reason why you couldn't.

Answer:	Pen blanks maybe a little larger. This chuck is smaller than you would think. Not a bad product but it does come a bit loose sometimes while using it

Answer:	This is a scroll chuck and as suck is a centering chuck. If the Chuck is not centering the jaws are in the wrong slots. They are numbered and you line the numbers up.
